SIMON H. BLOOM is a partner in the Atlanta law firm of Bloom Parham, LLP. You will find his name on the "short list" of trial lawyers in the Southeast that corporate clients call on when a case is heading for trial. He represents clients in a variety of complex commercial cases with a major focus on the real estate industry. Mr. Bloom regularly represents real estate clients nationwide in matters involving partnership disputes, lender disputes, title, boundary and easement disputes, eminent domain, purchase and sale contract disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, run-off cases, and zoning and land use. For ten years, he served as an adjunct professor of trial practice and pre trial-litigation courses at Emory Law School. Mr. Bloom also writes and teaches about trying cases and real estate litigation at seminars, including CLE seminars, throughout Georgia. He has been named a Georgia Super Lawyers, Top 100 Georgia Lawyer; is annually selected as a Super Lawyer; is annually named a member of the Georgia Trend Legal Elite; was chosen as an Up and Comer: Top 40 Under 40 by the Atlanta Business Chronicle; and identified as one of the 12 lawyers On the Rise as chosen by the Fulton County Daily Report in 2007. Mr. Bloom earned his B.A. degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.
AARON S. EVENCHIK is a partner with Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP, where he focuses his practice on construction and real estate law, where he performs both transactional and litigation work. His cross practice enables him to resolve disputes creatively and efficiently by understanding the underlying goals of the original deal and drafting transactional documents to avoid problems and disputes. His degree in civil engineering coupled with a half-dozen years in-house with a construction company, allows him to understand construction and real estate clients’ business needs, operational limitations, and goals. Dubbed “zealous” and “creative” by opposing counsel, Mr. Evenchik advocates for and has enabled clients of all sizes to close on properties, deals, and leases - small and large - to grow their businesses. He has significant first chair experience in construction, real estate, zoning, and contract disputes, as well as in asserting lien and bond claims, defending and prosecuting claims for and against contractors and subcontractors, as well as significant zoning litigation experience. Mr. Evenchik has been named to the Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2013-2016), and in 2015 was the recipient of the Honorable Mention Award as a Hero Behind the Scenes from Project Love. He is admitted to practice in Ohio; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio Southern District of Ohio, and District of Colorado. Mr. Evenchik earned his B.S. degree in civil engineering from The Ohio State University and his J.D. degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
LISA S. MORCHOWER is of counsel with Berman Fink Van Horn P.C., where she concentrates her practice in state and local government law, with a particular emphasis in the areas of alcoholic beverage licensing and hospitality law, zoning and land use matters, business licensing, police licensing and permitting, and general litigation. Prior to joining Berman Fink Van Horn P.C., Ms. Morchower was a senior assistant city attorney for the city of Atlanta where she was employed for more than 11 years. In her position with the city, she was responsible for providing legal advice and counsel to high level government officials, including the mayor, city council, the chief of police, and various city departments regarding alcoholic beverage and general police licensing, land use and various other matters. Ms. Morchower is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Florida and Georgia; and before the U.S. Supreme Court; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit; the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia; the Supreme Court of Georgia; and the Georgia Court of Appeals. Ms. Morchower earned her B.S. degree from The University of Alabama and her J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law.
