STACIE L. GOLLATA is an attorney with Gorrell Giles Gollata Means PC. She has been practicing commercial real estate law for more than 17 years. Prior to joining Gorrell Giles Gollata Means PC in 2005, Ms. Gollata practiced with two major law firms in two states. Her real estate practice focuses on the acquisition, finance, development, sale and lease of improved and unimproved real property for medical, commercial, retail, industrial and residential purposes. In addition, Ms. Gollata represents both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of ground lease development, as well as office, commercial, retail and industrial space leases. Her varied real estate experience also includes negotiating general construction contracts, subcontracts, owner/architect agreements, and other owner/consultant agreements. Finally, she has experience representing lenders and borrowers in many types of financing transactions, including complex, multistate financing arrangements and securitized loan pools. Ms. Gollata earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and her J.D. degree from the University of California Davis School of Law, where she was Order of the Coif.
TERYL R. GORRELL is an attorney with Gorrell Giles Gollata Means PC. Mr. Gorrell has practiced real estate law for more than 30 years. He represents developers and capital providers in the structuring, development and operation of a wide variety of projects in the United States and Mexico. These include medical, commercial, industrial, retail, resort, residential, condominium, affordable housing, historic preservation and mixed use developments. Mr. Gorrell's real estate work includes land acquisition, title assurance, entitlements, zoning, land use planning, financing, construction, ground and vertical leasing, property management, condominium creation, and property sales. He also assists clients with complex equity and debt structuring, including limited liability companies, limited partnerships, corporations, foreign ownership and finance entities, joint ventures, real estate investment trusts, public/private ventures, horizontal and vertical lending, tax credit and tax increment financing. Mr. Gorrell was a principal drafter of legislation authorizing the electronic recording of documents by the clerks and recorders in the state of Colorado. He has lectured to both professional associations and trade associations on real estate topics. Mr. Gorrell is active in the preservation and adaptive reuse of historic structures and is a past chairman of the Board of Trustees of Historic Denver, Inc. He has served as special counsel to governmental entities on complex land use issues and represents title insurance companies on title insurance and regulatory matters. Mr. Gorrell's practice includes dispute resolution of real estate related claims through litigation, arbitration and mediation. He serves as an expert witness, mediator and arbitrator on real estate and title insurance matters. Mr. Gorrell has been named to the list of Colorado Super Lawyers from 2006 - 2013. He is a member of the Colorado and Denver bar associations. Mr. Gorrell earned his B.A. degree, with highest honors, from the University of Notre Dame, and his J.D. degree from the University of Denver, College of Law.
