SARAH L. CLINGMAN is the sole practitioner with Clingman Law Firm, LLC, where she focuses her practice exclusively in the areas of elder law and estate planning, including trust and special needs planning, probate and fiduciary representation, and corporate law. She is a certified elder law attorney (CELA), as certified by the National Elder Law Foundation (the only certification in disability and special needs planning recognized by the South Carolina Supreme Court). Ms. Clingman also is a certified circuit court mediator. She has been a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) since 1992 and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the South Carolina NAELA Chapter. Ms. Clingman also is a member of the Elder Law Committee and the Probate, Estate and Trust Section of the South Carolina Bar. She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of South Carolina, the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the U.S. Federal District Court for the districts of South Carolina and Maryland, the U.S. Federal Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Clingman is a member of the American, Maryland State, Richland, and Lexington County bar associations, as well as the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association. She is an active volunteer for the South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Program and serves as counsel to several non-profit organizations serving the elderly and disabled. Ms. Clingman previously served on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association, Palmetto Chapter and the Citizens Advisory Boards of the C.M. Tucker Center. HON. IRVIN G. CONDON is the Judge of Charleston County Probate Court, having previously practiced at the law firm of Rosen, Rosen & Hagood, P.A., in Charleston. He is a member of the Charleston County and American bar associations, the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Association of Probate Judges, the National College of Probate Judges, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the South Carolina Association of Drug Court Professionals. Judge Condon is past president of the South Carolina Association of Probate Judges, the National College of Probate Judges, the National Guardianship Association, the Council of State Drug Court Associations, and the South Carolina Association of Drug Court Professionals. He is a certified public accountant and worked for PriceWaterhouse for three years before going to law school. JAMES D.
