DAVID A. DEMASTERS is an attorney with Davidson, Wren & Plyler, P.A., located in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. DeMasters focuses his practice on civil rights, government defense, and law enforcement defense. He received his B.A. degree from University of South Carolina, followed by earning his J.D. degree from University of South Carolina School of Law.
D. MICHAEL HENTHORNE is a shareholder at the law firm of Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. A specialist in employment and labor law as certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court, the focus of Mr. Henthorne's practice is the representation of employers and management in employment litigation. He is certified as both a civil mediator and an arbitrator by the South Carolina Supreme Court. In addition to his active employment litigation practice, Mr. Henthorne has held the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute in conjunction with the Society for Human Resources Management. He earned his B.A. degree from Furman University and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Henthorne is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of South Carolina, the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the Defense Research Institute, the American Bar Association's Litigation and Labor and Employment sections, and the Society for Human Resource Management. Mr. Henthorne has taught employment and labor law as an adjunct faculty member at Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina.
MICHAEL E. KOZLAREK founded Kozlarek Law LLC, focusing his practice on public finance, economic development, and general government representation. Prior to founding Kozlarek Law, he served as the office managing partner of a nationally-recognized law firm where he practiced for over 14 years. Mr. Kozlarek is a member of the South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia bar associations; and is a South Carolina certified economic developer. He received his M.C.J., M.I.B.S., and J.D. degrees from the University of South Carolina.
KATHLEEN M. MCDANIEL is a partner with Burnette Shutt & McDaniel, PA, where her practice focuses on environmental law. Ms. McDaniel helps businesses, large and small, navigate through the maze of agencies and permits they often need to get their projects under way. Her practice areas include administrative law, government law, land use and zoning, and general litigation. Ms. McDaniel is a member of the South Carolina and Richland County bar associations, as well as the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association.
