EILEEN R. BOWER, an attorney with the law firm of Crabbe, Brown and James, LLP, has over twenty years of experience in the areas of tax, estate planning, estate administration and trust administration She provides counsel to individuals, couples and business owners on matters relating to estate planning, business succession planning, and federal and state taxation. Ms. Bower represents individual and corporate clients before the Ohio Department of Taxation and the Internal Revenue Service. She serves as legal counsel for individual and corporate executors, administrators and other fiduciaries. Ms. Bower also practices in the area of trademark protection and enforcement services for trademarks and service marks registered through the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including intellectual property protection worldwide. She has been a member of National Business Institute faculty since 2007.
PHILIP J. GAUER practices in the areas of workers' compensation, Social Security disability law and estate planning and probate. He is a certified specialist in workers' compensation law through the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Gauer is a former assistant attorney general with the Ohio Attorney General's Office. He has been in private practice since 1995, and has had a solo practice since 2001. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association. Mr. Gauer received his B.S. degree from Miami University and his J.D. degree from the Capital University Law School.
JACK G. GIBBS JR. is a sole practitioner in Columbus, Ohio, where he practices in the areas of probate law and estate planning. He has previously spoken at alumni seminars at the Capital University Law School on wrongful death, sales of land within the probate process, the probate claim process, insolvency proceedings, rights of surviving spouses, and general estate administration. Mr. Gibbs also frequently speaks to church groups and other community groups on various aspects of probate law and estate planning. He is a member of the Columbus (Probate Committee; past member, Ethics Committee), Ohio State (Probate Committee) and American bar associations. He is also a member of the Columbus Foundation Legal Advisory Committee. Mr. Gibbs earned his B.A. degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. degree from Capital University Law School.
PAUL W. LEITHART II is a principal of the Columbus law firm of Strip, Hoppers, Leithart, McGrath & Terlecky Co., LPA. Mr. Leithart's areas of practice include civil litigation and trials, personal injury and insurance law, family law, estate planning, probate and real estate. His litigation experience includes real estate disputes, landlord-tenant matters, insurance contract issues, libel, injury cases involving traffic crashes, employer-employee disputes, lawsuits between heirs to estates, divorce, custody and support cases. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Central Ohio Association for Justice. BRITTANY M. PACE is an attorney at Carlile Patchen & Murphy LLP with offices in Columbus and Dublin. Ms. Pace is a part of the family wealth and estate planning practice group. She primarily focuses on estate planning, probate, trust and estate administration, and elder law. Ms. Pace is a member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Women’s Bar Association, and Columbus Bar Association. She is also an accredited attorney with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs. Ms. Pace serves on the board and as secretary of Veteran Companion Animal Services (VCAS). She received her undergraduate degree in finance from The Ohio State University and her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
RHETT A. PLANK is a sole practitioner in Gahanna, where he focuses his practice on collections, real estate and probate. He has served as an adjunct professor at Columbus State Community College since 1983, where he teaches real estate law. Mr. Plank is a member of the Ohio State and Columbus bar associations.
