Amanda J. Penick
is a partner at Bricker Graydon for the Real Estate Industry Group, which houses the firm's real estate transactions and real estate finance practice groups. She assists clients with the acquisition, sale, and leasing of real property. Ms. Penick is proud to represent a number of national and regional restaurant and hospitality clients in the drafting, negotiation, and management of their commercial leases. Ms. Penick also serves as local counsel for real estate transactions based in Ohio and Kentucky. She enjoys partnering with clients to develop processes and standards for managing and scaling a portfolios of real estate assets. She is a graduate of Hanover College and the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Penick is admitted to practice in the state of Ohio, New York and Kentucky.

Anthony M. Kroese
is a senior associate with the Lippes Mathias LLP's commercial real estate practice team and leads one of the firm's attorney coordinated groups for social engagement. He represents owners, developers and investors nationwide in a wide range of both commercial real estate and finance transactions, including corporate term loans and revolving credit facilities, mezzanine loans, and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) financings. Mr. Kroese routinely prepares and negotiates project development contracts, loan documents, purchase and sale agreements, property management agreements, commercial leases (including sale-leasebacks), licenses, and franchise agreements. He collaboratively works with commercial real estate clients through business issues related to landlord-tenant disputes, construction and reciprocal easements, due diligence memorandums, and title and survey analysis. Mr. Kroese regularly counsels clients on complex commercial real estate-related corporate issues, including corporate formation, governance and dissolution, merger and acquisition due diligence, zoning ordinances, and the preparation of corporate transaction profiles. He works with the firm's corporate and sports, entertainment and hospitality practice teams to efficiently handle commercial real estate components within broader transactions. Mr. Kroese is frequently called upon to draft legal opinion letters, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise in real estate law to provide authoritative legal assessments on various matters. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.

Grant Puleo
focuses his practice on a wide variety of real estate, finance and business transactions. He has extensive experience in a broad array of commercial, multi-family and educational facility (student housing) real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, construction, affordable housing, P3, syndication, dispositions and specialized leasing and financing of all product types throughout California and the United States. Mr. Puleo's finance experience includes both borrower and lender representation in the origination and workout of complicated debt and equity transactions, such as acquisition and construction financing, mezzanine financing and synthetic leasing transactions. He also represents clients in business matters involving the transfer of business assets and property and the formation and restructuring of joint ventures, private placements, opportunity funds and other business entities. Mr. Puleo is also a seasoned trial attorney, having tried over a dozen jury trials and several dozen binding arbitrations and mediations involving real estate, finance and business disputes, lis pendens, quiet title and partition actions, as well as risk management and litigation avoidance counseling. Mr. Puleo has also testified as an expert witness in trial, binding arbitration and in deposition. Mr. Puleo is an adjunct professor of law at California Western School of Law, where he lectures on commercial real estate transactions. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Endeavor Bank and serves as pro bono legal counsel for various non-profit clients. Mr. Puleo is admitted to practice in the state of California.

Christina Morgan
practices in the area of real estate law with a focus on commercial real estate transactions. She advises clients in connection with the acquisition, disposition, leasing, financing and development of real property. Ms. Morgan's extensive real estate background and title industry experience supports her transactional practice, including negotiation of purchase and sale transactions, document drafting and review, analysis of due diligence materials and resolution of title and vesting issues. She was a real estate professional for 20 years prior to becoming an attorney. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Morgan was the lead real estate consultant for Chicago Title Company where she consulted homebuilders and developers of residential, mixed use and master planned communities in navigating the complex regulatory process of the California Department of Real Estate. Her non-traditional path into the legal field provided unique opportunities to be involved in various aspects of development and commercial and residential property transactions. Ms. Morgan brings a practical perspective to real estate law by viewing each transaction from both a business and legal perspective. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law and a graduate of the University of California, San Diego. Ms. Morgan is admitted to practice in the state of California.
