General Oklahoma Continuing Legal Education Credit Requirements
How many CLE credits do you need in Oklahoma, and what types of CLE credit do you need?
In Oklahoma, active status attorneys must complete 12.00 CLE credits every year to maintain good standing with the Oklahoma Bar.
In addition, Oklahoma attorneys must complete 2.00 legal ethics credits every year. Legal ethics CLE may include legal malpractice prevention and mental health and substance use disorders.
Programs addressing the ethical tenets of other disciplines and not specifically pertaining to legal ethics are not eligible for legal ethics CLE credit but may meet the requirements for general CLE credit.
When is the Oklahoma CLE reporting deadline?
Oklahoma attorneys must complete all 12.00 required credits by December 31 each year. All OK CLE must be reported by February 15.

The compliance period is 1 year and ends on December 31.
