Deadlines Approaching for California Attorneys. Are You Ready?

While January is the start of a new year, it is also the end of the three (3) year MCLE compliance period for California attorneys in Compliance Group 3 (last names N-Z).

CA CLE Credit Requirements

The MCLE rules for California state that attorneys are required to complete 25.00 credit hours every three (3) years.

As part of their 25.00 credits required every 3 years, CA attorneys must complete CLE in the following topics:

There are two types of CA MCLE credit you can earn, participatory (Live Online Seminars, Live Webinars, Fast Track Live Webinars, OnDemand Courses) and self-study (Downloadable Courses, CDs, DVDs, & Books). At least 12.5 credit hours must be earned with participatory credit. Specialty credit hours may be taken as participatory or self-study.

Reporting CA CLE Credits

You must keep track of your own CLE credits and certify compliance with your California CLE requirements by completing an attestation online using your State Bar attorney login or by submitting an MCLE Compliance Form.

NBI will send you a Verified Certificate of Completion. Please retain it for your records.
