Allison N Powers is a partner in the Chicago office of Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg LLP. She is devoted to guiding management through the spectrum of workplace challenges and to advocating with zeal when agency actions or litigation loom. In devising custom solutions for clients, Ms. Powers capitalizes on 15 years as an employment litigator, trial attorney, and strategic partner, plus a unique set of soft skills that have made her indispensable to clients navigating high-profile matters requiring discernment and discretion. She serves as employment counsel to BFKN in her role as Associate General Counsel, Employment. Ms. Powers also leads the training subcommittee of the firm's DEI Committee. She is admitted to practice in Illinois, California, Missouri and New York. Ms. Powers earned her B.A. degree from Northwestern University and her J.D. degree from Washington University School of Law. She is a member of the Chicago Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights and Black Women Lawyers Association of Greater Chicago.
