Christina Hoffman is of counsel in the Trial and Defense practice group at Clyde & Co, where she handles all phases of litigation, from client development and detailed case investigation to settlement and trial. She has extensive experience in product liability, toxic torts, catastrophic injury, consumer class actions, employment disputes, privacy matters, property rights, and education and disability-related discrimination. Ms. Hoffman frequently defends academic integrity and sexual assault claims in educational settings and consults on athletic eligibility issues, including a recently successful NCAA appeal. Her representative experience includes securing a $12 million verdict in a product liability case, obtaining summary judgment for the California Department of Transportation, and co-counseling a class action against the College Board involving AP test access during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ms. Hoffman is actively involved in several organizations, including serving on the Board of Trustees for the Children's Hospital Los Angeles Foundation and as general counsel for the R.M. Pyles Boys Camp. She is admitted to practice in California; U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, and Central districts of California; and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Ms. Hoffman earned her J.D. degree from Pepperdine School of Law, her B.A. degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Certified Privacy Law and Data Protection degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
