David L Carrier is the principal of the Grand Rapids Law Offices of David L. Carrier, P.C. His main areas of practice are estate planning and probate, elder law, small business and real estate transactions. Mr. Carrier has conducted numerous seminars on estate planning issues for a diverse collection of civic groups and has lectured on planned giving and charitable trust issues for the Grand Rapids-based Direction Center. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Grand Rapids bar associations, State Bar of Michigan (member, Estate Planning and Probate, Elder Law and Real Estate sections) and West Michigan Planned Giving Council. Mr. Carrier earned his B.A. degree from the University of Notre Dame, his J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and his LL.M. degree, in taxation, from Georgetown University Law Center.
