Dominic DeMarco represents banks, finance companies, and other large institutional lenders in connection traditional mortgage loans for single-asset or portfolio deals, mezzanine loans, and other financing and investment mechanisms. He represents borrowers obtaining agency financing, acquisitions, and dispositions of multi-family, commercial, and industrial properties, and office leasing. Dominic also represents finance companies in secondary market repurchase facility work transactions. Dominic’s leasing experience includes drafting, negotiating, and reviewing office, retail, and industrial leases, amendments, and lease termination agreements, predominantly for eight downtown Chicago high-rise office buildings and two suburban Chicago high-rise office buildings. He assists clients with the purchase and/or sale of commercial real estate, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, title, survey, and zoning examination, and drafting and reviewing reciprocal easement and operating agreements. Before going into private practice, Dominic served as in-house counsel for Black Lion Investment Group, Inc. He earned his B.A. degree from University of Miami; his J.D. degree, magna cum laude, California Western School of Law; and his LL.M, degree, magna cum laude, from University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
