Jonathan W Litster concentrates his practice on high-stakes civil litigation, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. Advocating for individuals inside and outside of the courtroom, he represents plaintiffs in a broad range of tort litigation areas, including significant personal injury, insurance bad faith, and professional malpractice. Mr. Litster has extensive experience helping injured victims and their families obtain just compensation. After earning his law degree from the University of Idaho College of Law (Dean's List), he worked as a Deputy Criminal Prosecutor for Ada County in Boise. During law school, Mr. Litster served as a judicial extern for the Honorable U.S. District Court Chief Judge David C. Nye and learned the intricacies of appellate work as a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Joel D. Horton at the Idaho Supreme Court. He externed with the James A. & Louise McClure Center for Public Policy Research, advocated for survivors of domestic and sexual violence at the University of Idaho Family Justice Clinic, and was chosen by faculty to represent the University of Idaho College of Law at the Peggy Browning Fund Workers’ Rights Conference in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Litster is admitted to practice in the states of Arizona and Idaho.
