Katherine C Dearing is an associate in the firm's intellectual property practice group. Her practice focuses on trademark and copyright enforcement and litigation. Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Ms. Dearing was an associate at Kelly IP LLP and Venable LLP. She also served as a legal intern for the U.S. Attorney's Office in the District of Columbia, and as a law clerk for the Hon. Reggie B. Walton, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. While at Georgetown University Law Center, Ms. Dearing was the editor-in-chief of the Annual Survey of White Collar Crime, the premier publication of the American Criminal Law Review. She was also the director of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Division of the Barrister's Council. Prior to law school, Ms. Dearing worked as a project manager at Epic Systems, where she managed two electronic medical record service implementations at large medical facilities. She earned her B.A. degree from Northwestern University and her J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
