Kimberly D Thresher focuses on construction, commercial, and franchise litigation and transactional matters in her practice. Over her more than two decades of experience, she has handled a wide range of legal issues, with specific focus on corporate and construction law over the last 17 years. Ms. Thresher is known for her aggressive representation of clients and her commitment to being a fierce advocate, whether in court or while drafting and negotiating contracts and agreements. She has played a key role in helping form numerous companies while providing strategic guidance to help ensure their success. Throughout her career, Ms. Thresher has worked for large firms, had her own practice and worked with her family at Thresher & Thresher, P.A., where she handled construction law matters. She expanded the firm's scope by building a corporate practice, representing clients for almost 11 years there. Over the course of her career, the breadth of Ms. Thresher's experience ranged from handling medical malpractice and insurance defense matters, serving as general counsel to a Tampa start-up company to construction law and commercial litigation. Given her extensive construction law experience, she became board-certified in construction law in 2024. Ms. Thresher earned her B.A. degree from Florida Southern College and her J.D. degree from Stetson University College of Law.
