Lincoln M Wright is a partner at Udall Shumway PLC, specializing in medical malpractice, elder abuse and personal injury. He has gained expertise in nursing home regulations and interactions with government agencies, nursing home standards of care, and Medicare liens. Mr. Wright is also skilled in legal research and writing. In 2013, he won a case at the Arizona Court of Appeals, Clark v. Renaissance West, LLC, which makes it easier for nursing home residents to challenge mandatory arbitration agreements and keep their right to sue if nursing homes injure them. In 2018, Mr. Wright wrote the appellate briefs for the prevailing party in Kopp v. Physician Group of Arizona, Inc., a hospital negligence case in which the Arizona Supreme Court overturned nearly 75 years of precedent. He earned his B.A. degree from Arizona State University and his J.D. degree from Boston College of Law. Mr. Wright is admitted to practice in Arizona.
