Meg A Burnham is of counsel with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. Her legal practice is a combination of both employment litigation and advice work. Ms. Burnham works with a variety of clients across several industries including, but not limited to, healthcare, technology, banking, maritime, and transportation. Her experience working across numerous industries allows her to litigate and advise any type of client without hesitation, and it keeps her practice interesting and diverse. Ms. Burnham defends employers in single-plaintiff cases and wage and hour class actions. She has extensive experience litigating claims of discrimination, retaliation, leave interference, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters. Additionally, she frequently represents clients in front of state and federal agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ("EEOC") and the Washington State Human Rights Commission ("WSHRC"), as well as in arbitration. Ms. Burnham also regularly advises clients on employment issues and conducts investigations. She is recognized by clients and her colleagues alike for being responsive, passionate, and reasonable. Ms. Burnham recognizes that no two clients are the same, and across all of her cases and matters can be trusted to take the time to learn the needs and goals of her clients so that she can provide creative and thoughtful strategies that best serve those interests. She earned her B.A. degree from University of Washington and her J.D. degree from University of Washington School of Law.
