Ryan P Scordato is practice group leader of the Construction Law Lowndes Team. He is a Florida construction law attorney, representing owners, developers, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors. Based in Orlando, Mr. Scordato focuses on construction-related legal matters, including federal and state court litigation, arbitration, lien claims, surety bond claims, and strategic risk assessment for projects of all sizes. He combines detailed legal knowledge with practical industry understanding to identify effective solutions for complex construction challenges. Mr. Scordato regularly drafts and negotiates construction agreements, litigates disputes, and advises clients on minimizing legal exposure while maintaining project momentum. This comprehensive service has established him as a trusted advisor to construction professionals throughout the region. As a former co-chair of the Orange County Bar Association's Construction Law Committee, Mr. Scordato has contributed to the development of construction law practice standards and built valuable industry connections. Licensed to practice before all Florida state courts and the Middle District of Florida, he provides consistent representation across jurisdictions. Mr. Scordato's client relationships reflect his commitment to understanding specific business objectives before developing legal strategies. These recognitions highlight his commitment to practical, results-oriented legal counsel. Mr. Scordato earned his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center and his B.A. degree in political science from the University of Connecticut. At UConn, he was captain of the men's lacrosse team and was selected for the UConn Lacrosse "All-Decade Team" for 2000-2010. Currently, Mr. Scordato serves as co-president of the Winter Park Lacrosse Club's Board, coaches the boys’ Bantam team, and contributes to Lacrosse Club Orlando. His community involvement includes service with Central Florida Vocal Arts, leadership roles in the Orange County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section, and as a past president of the Christian Service Center of Central Florida. Originally from Ellington, Connecticut, Mr. Scordato now balances his construction law practice with family life in the Sunshine State. He and his wife, Colleen, are the proud parents of three kids: Braden, Lucas, and Caroline. When he's not practicing law, Mr. Scordato enjoys golfing, fishing, and hunting. Come football season, he is all about the LSU Tigers, staying true to his law school alma mater.
