Speaker bio
Evangeline Dhawan-Maloney
is an associate at Robichaud, Schroepfer & Correia, P.A., practicing primarily in the area of immigration. She specializes in removal defense, family-based and humanitarian immigration, citizenship, and much more. Ms. Dhawan-Maloney takes pride in vigorously advocating for her clients in many settings, including the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), and the Federal District Court. She also has experience helping clients navigate the complex intersection of immigration and criminal or family law. Ms. Dhawan-Maloney earned her B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. degree from the University of St Thomas School of Law. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association. Ms. Dhawan-Maloney is admitted to practice law before the Federal District Court for the District of Minnesota and Minnesota Supreme Court.

Marcos Ramirez
is a multicultural attorney at Nexum Law PLLC. He provides a deep understanding of Latin America culture to his clients. Mr. Ramirez earned his bachelor's degree from the Universidad de los Andes, his Master of Business Administration from the Hamline University School of Business, his J.D. degree and Master of Law from the Hamline University School of Law; and was a policy fellow at the University of Minnesota School of Public Affairs. A member of the Minnesota state bar, he is also admitted to practice before the District of Columbia, federal District courts for the District of Minnesota, and U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Ramirez is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (a past chair of the Immigration Section), member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, and American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Gunda J. Brost
is an immigration attorney in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She is originally from Oldenburg, North Germany. Ms. Brost holds a law degree from Hamline University School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is a former model and a world languages teacher, with experience teaching English as a second language, German, French, and Latin. She is fluent in English, French and German, and Spanish. Besides her law degree, Ms. Brost holds a B.A. degree from Wartburg College and a master's degree from Middlebury College, Vermont. She was able to work with local immigration attorney Miryam Antunez, she was able to assist in representing the victims of the 2006 ICE raid in Marshalltown. Ms. Brost's resume touts victories in citizenship cases, green card acquisition cases, DACA cases, and asylum cases. Ms. Brost is the current chapter chair for Iwoa Nebraska, AILA and currently serves on the board of governors of AILA National.

is the managing partner at Maney | Gordon | Zeller, P.A., where he limits his practice to immigration and nationality law. He offers expert representation in the areas of immigration solutions for businesses, I-9 worksite compliance, all business visa categories, consular processing, appeals and immigration-related federal court litigation. Mr. Zeller is board certified by The Florida Bar in U.S. immigration and nationality law, and he is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales. He serves as an Honorary Consul to the Republic of Austria. Mr. Zeller has authored numerous articles on immigration and nationality law topics, and he is a frequent speaker at bar associations, universities, and private sector interest groups. He is a member of The Florida Bar, the American and Hillsborough bar associations, the Federal Bar Association, and the Law Society of England and Wales.
