Speaker bio
Nauni J. Manty
is the principal of Manty & Associates, P.A., where she focuses her practice on commercial litigation and complex bankruptcy matters. She has represented creditors in all types of settings, including enforcing creditors' rights and remedies in state court as well as in federal court. Ms. Manty has significant experience in bankruptcy law, representing debtors, creditors, and unsecured creditor committees. Her other areas of experience include creditor rights litigation, such as breach of contract, replevin, garnishment, and letter of creditor issues. Ms. Manty was appointed by the U.S. Trustee Department of Justice to serve as a Chapter 7 Panel Trustee for the District of Minnesota. In her position as a Chapter 7 Trustee, she oversees the administration of the Chapter 7 cases. Ms. Manty also has been appointed as a Chapter 11 Trustee. She frequently lectures on bankruptcy law, collections and analysis of financial statements. Ms. Manty was named a Super Lawyer by Minnesota Law & Politics for several years. In addition, she was named one of the Top 50 Female Attorneys in Minnesota. Ms. Manty earned her B.A. degree from Concordia University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law.

Ronald S. Weiss
is a partner in the Kansas City law firm of Berman, DeLeve, Kuchan & Chapman, L.C. He practices in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial litigation. Mr. Weiss wrote the chapter on general executions in The Missouri Bar Handbook and Attachments on Debtor/Creditors' Rights; and the chapter on bankruptcy in The Missouri Bar Practical Skills Handbook. He also is a contributing writer to The Missouri Bar Bankruptcy Practice Handbook. Mr. Weiss has been a lecturer for The Missouri Bar seminars and for the National Association of Credit Management in the Kansas City Bar Young Lawyers Trial Practice Program. He has served as chair of the Midwestern Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Weiss is a member of The Missouri Bar, American Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, Commercial Law League of America and the American Bankruptcy Institute. He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Missouri.

Scott F. Walterbach
is a partner at Bessine Walterbach, LLP, a small law firm in the Kansas City where he has worked since 2010. He practices in high-volume collections and creditors' rights. Mr. Walterbach represents clients throughout Missouri and Kansas seeking to collect medical debt, student loans, rent, utilities and various other consumer obligations. He handles litigation, post-judgment collection, policies and procedures, compliance, risk management, client relations, business development and personnel. Mr. Walterbach also defends against consumer protection lawsuits, handles worker's compensation claims, bankruptcy claims, probate claims and hospital liens. He earned his B.A. degree from Truman State University, his M.P.D. degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City and his J.D. degree from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. Mr. Walterbach is past president of the Missouri Collectors Association, past president of the Missouri Creditors Bar, Inc. and past president of the Kansas Creditor Attorney Association.

Andrew Condiles
is an attorney with Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. working on behalf of creditors with major lending institutions and utility companies. He assists both organizations in recovering their unpaid debts, while also helping utility companies collect the monies that they are owed when their valuable equipment is damaged. Mr. Condiles's clients can always count on him to know every fact of the case before heading into an arbitration, mediation, negotiation or trial. He earned his B.A. degree from Hobart College, is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of Law, and was a member of CWRU's National Moot Court Team. During law school, Mr. Condles was a member of CWRU's health law journal and authored a piece titled, "How Voluntary Is Voluntary," which was published in Volume 18 of the Appalachian Journal of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Moot Court Judge and Philadelphia Bar Association. Mr. Condiles is admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court for the Middle and Eastern districts of Pennsylvania, and U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
