Bethany M. Mulhern
is an attorney with the law firm of Miller Cushing Holladay, PLLC in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has been practicing family law since 2017 and focuses on divorce, child custody, child support, equitable distribution, alimony and property settlement agreements. Ms. Mulhern earned her B.A. degree from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania and her J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law. She is admitted to the North Carolina Bar and the U.S. District Court, Western District of North Carolina.

Spencer D. West
is an equity partner, shareholder and co-founder of the law firm of Mitchell & West, LLC. He specializes in the area of family law. Mr. West is admitted to The Florida Bar and Massachusetts Bar Association; where he actively represents clients in an array of cases including divorces, custody, child support, relocation, modification, paternity and domestic violence disputes. In addition, he is permitted to practice before Florida federal courts and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. West has assisted many professional clients, including but not limited to doctors, lawyers, accountants and retired professional athletes with their high asset divorces and other disputes; as well as with drafting custom pre and postnuptial agreements. He is sought out by clients and other lawyers for his extensive expertise and dedication to fighting for his clients. Mr. West is an aggressive litigator who devotes himself to achieving the best results for his individual clients, while maintaining the highest ethical standards of professionalism. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northeastern University in Boston and his J.D. degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.

Elizabeth Lance
is the founding partner of Lance & Hall LLP. Prior to opening her own practice, she worked in both the private and public sectors. Ms. Lance previously worked as an associate attorney at Woodhouse Roden Nethercott, LLC; and as a senior assistant public defender and senior assistant attorney general for the State of Wyoming. Her work history has provided her with extensive experience in the courtroom at both trial and appellate court levels. Ms. Lance's work at the Attorney General's Office provided her with wide-ranging experience in appellate law, both civil and criminal. She also gained administrative law experience by representing several state agencies and boards, including the Department of Family Services. Ms. Lance's work at the Public Defender's Office provided her with extensive litigation experience where she averaged 25 court appearances per week on behalf of her clients. She also gained significant experience in the representation of juveniles accused of crimes. Ms. Lance presently works as a contract attorney for the Guardian ad Litem Division at the State of Wyoming, where she represents juveniles in abuse/neglect, CHINS and delinquency cases. She frequently fields calls from other attorneys in how to handle juvenile justice matters and has presented multiple continuing legal education courses on the representation of juveniles. Ms. Lance earned her B.S. degree from the University of Wyoming and her J.D. degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law. She is admitted to practice in Wyoming, Wyoming Supreme Court, U.S. District of Wyoming and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

John Whitbeck
is the founder and majority shareholder with Whitbeck Bennett in Leesburg, Virginia. He focuses his practice on family law, criminal law, mental health law, civil litigation and many other areas. Mr. Whitbeck has also been certified as an expert witness in litigation. He is an adjunct professor of law at George Mason University Law School, teaching mental illness law. Mr. Whitbeck is the director of the George Mason University Law and Mental Illness Clinic. He has served as substitute judge in Virginia district courts, hearing civil and criminal matters including family law cases. Mr. Whitbeck also served as a special justice for civil commitment hearings in the 20th Judicial Circuit, which requires him to sit as a judge for hearings to committ mentally ill individuals to psychiatric treatment. He has also served as a special prosecutor in the Loudoun County General District Courts. Mr. Whitbeck earned his A.B. degree from Occidental College and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from George Mason University-Antonin Scalia Law School.
