Speaker bio
Bridget B. Burns
is a partner in the law firm of White and Bright, LLP in Escondido, California. Ms. Burns focuses her practice on all aspects of trust and estate law, including complex estate plans, asset protection, and probate and trust administration. Prior to joining White and Bright, LLP, she practiced at a boutique law firm focused on estate planning and asset protection, where she was the head of the asset protection department. In addition to assisting clients with all basic and advanced estate planning needs. Ms. Burns earned her B.A. degree from the University of San Diego and her J.D. degree from New York University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the North County Bar Association, the San Diego County Bar Association and the Lawyers Club of San Diego.

Veronica K. Cerruti
is a partner in the San Francisco office of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. She focuses her practice on trust, estate and transfer tax planning, with an emphasis on family wealth transfers for large estates, business succession planning, sophisticated estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax savings techniques, and complex probate and trust administrations. Ms. Cerruti is a frequent speaker for educational programs on a variety of estate planning topics and techniques, including seminars for individuals who are interested in providing for their pets in the event of the individual's incapacity or death. She earned her B.M. degree from the University of the Pacific and her J.D. degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. Ms. Cerruti is a Certified Specialist, Trust and Estate Planning, The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She is a member of the Francisco Estate Planning Council, Bar Association of San Francisco and California Bar Association.
