Daren Sarphie
has practiced workers' compensation in Louisiana for 20 years. In 2024, he founded Sarphie Law, L.L.C., to develop a nation-wide focus on federal workers' compensation (FECA) and Veterans' disability, and railroad work injures (FELA) in Louisiana.

John J. Castaneda
is the owner of Castaneda Law Office and has 37 years of experience handling Illinois workers' compensation claims. During his career, he has briefed and argued cases before the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, circuit courts, and the Appellate Court of Illinois. Mr. Castaneda's leadership position in the field of workers' compensation includes serving as past president - and first Hispanic president - of the Workers' Compensation Lawyers Association. He also served as a director of the association, and is past editor of the organization's newsletter. Mr. Castaneda is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice. He is an Illinois Super Lawyer, described by the publisher as "a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement." Mr. Castaneda has been listed in Best Lawyers in America, "the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession." In addition, Martindale-Hubbell, "the authoritative resource for information on the worldwide legal profession," has rated Mr. Castaneda AV® (very high to preeminent) for both legal ability and professional ethics. He received his B.A. from Loyola University of Illinois and his J.D. from the University of Minnesota, where he also served on the editorial staff of the Law and Inequality Journal. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and before the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Castaneda has lectured for the Illinois Workers' Compensation Commission, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and National Business Institute.

John W. Chapman
has practiced law in Maine for over 40 years. He represents PORAC (U.S. Border Patrol), Fraternal Order of Police, Androscoggin County Employee Association, Professional Fire Fighters of Maine and National Correctional Employees Union. Mr. Chapman has co-authored legislation in the area of mental health and firearms with the Governor's Office and the Sportsman's Alliance of Maine. He teaches use of deadly and nondeadly force at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy to cadets, law enforcement firearms instructors and judicial marshals. Mr. Chapman developed and periodically updates the protocol for representation of law enforcement officers involved in critical incidents. He is the counselor at arms for the Gun Owners of Maine, and is an avid shooter, archer and reloader. Mr. Chapman is admitted to practice in the Maine courts; U.S. District Court for the District of Maine; First Circuit Court of Appeals; U.S. Supreme Court; and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

Bret R. Goldstein
is a partner with the firm of Reger Rizzo & Darnall LLP, in the firm's Philadelphia office. He is chair of the firm's employment practices group, concentrating in the representation of management in workers' compensation, employment and labor matters. Mr. Goldstein regularly counsels clients on a broad range of employment-related issues. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (member, Workers' Compensation Section). Mr. Goldstein earned his B.A. degree from Lafayette College and his J.D. degree from Rutgers University at Camden. Mr. Goldstein is also a certified workers’ compensation specialist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

A. Jacob Perkinson
is an attorney with the law firm Whitt & Del Bueno, P.C. in Glen Allen, Virginia. He represents municipalities, local government entities, insurance companies and self-insured businesses in workers' compensation claims throughout the Commonwealth. Mr. Perkinson graduated Valedictorian from the Appalachian School of Law. He has experience representing both claimants and defendants in workers' compensation cases. Mr. Perkinson is licensed by the Virginia State Bar and is a member of the Workers' Compensation Inn of Court. He also serves as chair of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.
