Speaker bio
Meredith E. Marcus
is a partner with Osterhout Berger Daley, LLC. She focuses her practice on Social Security disability law, and federal and appeal court appeals in Social Security claims. Ms. Marcus received her undergraduate degree from Connecticut College and her J.D. degree from University of Illinois Chicago, graduating cum laude. She is a recognized as a Super Lawyer and Leading Lawyer. Ms. Marcus is the editor of Social Security Disability Practice by James Publishing. She is the prior chair for the Chicago Bar Association Social Security Committee and the prior director at large for the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR). Ms. Marcus is admitted to practice in Illinois and Michigan. She is licensed in the U.S. Supreme Court; Sixth and Seventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals; district courts in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Michigan; and U.S. Court of Federal Claims. Ms. Marcus has litigated district court cases nationwide. She is a member of NADR and NOSSCR and has lectured for both organizations, as well as for the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, Michigan Bar Association and National Business Institute.

Jason A. Jenkins
is an attorney with Gravis Law, LLC, specializing in disability law. He takes pride in advocating for and helping those with disabilities. Prior to coming to Gravis Law, Mr. Jenkins practiced Social Security law as a solo practitioner for seven years. He has successfully represented hundreds of disability claimants through the southeast United States. Mr. Jenkins earned his B.A. degree from Florida Atlantic University and his J.D. degree from St. Thomas University College of Law. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claims Representatives (NOSSCR) and the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR). Mr. Jenkins is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Christopher Gentry
is an attorney with The McMahan Law Firm in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where he runs the firm's Social Security Disability Claims Center. He represents claimants in more than 300 Social Security hearings each year and has represented claimants in thousands of disability hearings all over Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. Mr. Gentry has presented seminars for National Business Institute and has appeared on multiple television shows to provide information regarding Social Security issues. He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimaint's Representatives, Tennessee Association for Justice, Chattanooga Trial Lawyers Association, Chattanooga Bar Association and State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Gentry earned his B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee and his J.D. degree from Michigan State University College of Law. He is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Georgia.

Jonathan C. Ginsberg
is a member of Ginsberg Law Offices, P.C. in Atlanta, Georgia, where his focus is on Social Security disability, consumer bankruptcy and workers' compensation. A graduate of Tulane Law School, he has been in private practice for more than 25 years. Mr. Ginsberg is the editor of the Disability Answer Guide and Child SSI Disability Answer Guide. He also publishes both a blog and a podcast about Social Security disability. Mr. Ginsberg serves on the faculty of Solo Practice University, where he teaches a course for new and newly solo lawyers to establish a Social Security disability practice.

Stacy E. Thompson
is a partner in the law firm of Bluestein Thompson Sullivan, LLC in Columbia, South Carolina. She practices exclusively in the area of Social Security disability. Ms. Thompson is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives (NOSSCR) and has been a member of the NOSSCR Board representing the Fourth and D.C. circuits. She also is a member of the South Carolina Association for Justice, American Association for Justice, South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, South Carolina Bar, and the Richland County Bar Association. Ms. Thompson is chair of the Social Security Disability Section of the South Carolina Association for Justice (formerly South Carolina Trial Lawyers) and a member of the South Carolina Bar Publications Committee and Pro Bono Committee. She has been a speaker at numerous seminars regarding Social Security disability throughout the state. Ms. Thompson earned her B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina Honors College, her J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and her Master of International Business Studies degree from the Darla Moore School of Business.
