Candace Gregory
is a partner with Phelps Dunbar LLP where she brings a rare combination of civil and criminal litigation experience to her practice. She has tried more than 40 cases to verdict, handled over 100 investigations for a Fortune 500 company, and managed the staffing and oversight of hundreds of government investigations. Ms. Gregory's practice focuses on litigation, cybersecurity, white-collar defense and investigations, and media and First Amendment law. She is also a trained mediator and is available to act as a neutral third party to assist litigants in resolving their disputes prior to trial. Ms. Gregory was most recently the director of the Public Integrity Division and statewide coordinator for officer involved shootings for the attorney general of Mississippi. Prior to that, she was the first hybrid assistant United States attorney (AUSA) for the Southern District of Mississippi, responsible for litigating both civil and criminal civil rights cases. Additionally, she was the coordinator for both civil rights and violent crimes throughout the district. Earlier in her career, Ms. Gregory worked as a public defender for Hinds County, Mississippi and in private practice in the areas of criminal law, family law, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. She also worked as an attorney advisor for the Social Security Administration. She earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Clark Atlanta University, her J.D. degree from the University of Maryland School of Law and the Business Advantage Program from Millsaps College. Ms. Gregory is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Maryland Bar Association, Federal Bar Association (treasurer), Charles L. Clark Chapter of the American Inns of Court, United States Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panelist (Southern District of Mississippi (2022) and the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership (Board of Directors). She is admitted to practice in Mississippi, Maryland, U.S. District Court Southern District of Mississippi, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Court Northern District of Mississippi.

Marlon A. Primes
is a partner in the Cleveland office of Brennan, Manna & Diamond, LLC. He is a distinguished former assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Primes has transitioned to serve as co-chair of BMD's business and tort litigation practice, and represents companies across the U.S. in high-stakes litigation. He has handled a wide variety of complex civil litigation in state, federal and appellate courts, including jury trials and appellate actions. Mr. Primes earned his B.S. degree from Ohio University and his J.D. degree from Georgetown University Law Center.

Tatiana M. Terry
is an attorney with Ogletree Deakins. Representing employers of all sizes, she works closely with clients to secure positive results in administrative proceedings and civil litigation in both state and federal courts, specializing in litigation. Ms. Terry's specific experience in employment law includes claims involving Title VII, Americans with Disabilities Act, Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Equal Pay Act, and Fair Labor Standards Act, as well as corresponding state statutes. She has extensive experience representing individuals in professional licensing and liability matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Terry primarily handled professional liability matters where she litigated before the North Carolina Court of Appeals, Wake County Superior Court, and occupational licensing boards defending and prosecuting licensees. She is a 2016 cum laude graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.A. in Criminology and a minor in Political Science, and a 2019 graduate of Campbell University School of Law with a focus on trial advocacy. A product of Campbell Law's nationally ranked advocacy program, she is one of the most decorated advocates in the school's 45-year history. While at Campbell, Ms. Terry served as a dual-advocate on both the Client Counseling and Trial Advocacy teams. As a member of the Client Counseling Team, she won the ABA Regional Client Counseling Competition, ABA National Client Counseling Competition, and represented the U.S. in the International Client Consultation Competition, where she and her teammate won, a first for North Carolina law schools, and earned the title of World Client Consultation Champions. On the Trial Advocacy team, she earned the individual award Best Overall Advocate at the National Black Law Student Association's (NBLSA) Southern Regional Mock Trial Competition, Best Cross-Examination at NBLSA's Southern Regional Mock Trial Competition, and finished as a champion at both the NBLSA Southern Regional Mock Trial Competition and NBLSA National Mock Trial Competition. She later won the coveted Top Gun Mock Trial Competition in 2019, making her the first African-American to win the most challenging, invitation-only trial advocacy tournament in the nation, earning the title of the #1 ranked mock trial advocate amongst law schools students across the county. Ms. Terry previously served as the Director of Competitive Advocacy for Campbell Law while teaching second and third-year law students Trial Advocacy as a Professor of Law. She also served as an Assistant District Attorney in North Carolina where her practice specialized in identity theft. Finally, Ms. Terry continues to give back to the legal community by coaching Campbell Law Trial Advocacy teams. She is a member of the The Order of Barristers National Trial Advocacy Honor Society, American Bar Association, North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association and the Wake County Bar Association. Ms. Terry is admitted to practice in North Carolina.

Mitchell J. Rhein
is a member of the Charleston, West Virginia office of Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC. His primary area of practice is labor and employment law. Mr. Rhein represents employers and their executives in employment-related claims, including discrimination and harassment; wrongful discharge; breach of contract; breach of noncompete contracts and non-solicitation contracts and disclosure of trade secrets. He also represents employers on traditional labor matters, including unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board; union organizing campaigns and elections; and collective bargaining, as well as Advising employers regarding internal and external investigations on wage and hour issues and allegations of harassment and discrimination. Mr. Rhein earned his B.A. degree from Michigan State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law. He is admitted to practice in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Pennsylvania. Mr. Rhein is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, West Virginia State Bar, Energy and Mineral Law Foundation, American Bar Association and Defense Research Institute.
