Speaker bio
Rebecca L. Miltenberger
is a shareholder with the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck. She is an experienced real estate and land use attorney who combines her legal expertise with a passion for creating solutions for her clients' legal issues. Ms. Miltenberger's practice focuses on complex commercial real estate transactions and land use projects in hospitality, gaming and leisure industries, multifamily, office and retail. In addition, she concentrates on transactional work, serving as counsel to some of Southern Nevada's most high-profile companies in a wide range of matters including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, developments, land use and entitlements and leases of real property assets. Ms. Miltenberger has helped her clients acquire, develop and entitle hundreds of millions of dollars in hospitality and leisure properties across Las Vegas and Reno as well as nationwide. She also represents clients in the acquisition and financing of multifamily complexes throughout Nevada and across the West. Ms. Miltenberger earned her B.A. degree from the University of Washington and her J.D. degree, with distinction, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Clark County Bar Association, State Bar of Nevada, Urban Land Institute and the National Association of Industrial & Office Properties.

Robert E. McPeak
is an associate at Fennemore, where he concentrates his practice on real estate, real estate finance, and energy project development and finance. His comprehensive real estate practice covers all aspects of property acquisition, financing, development, management, leasing, and sales. Mr. McPeak earned his A.B. degree, with distinction, from the University of Michigan and J.D. degree, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law. For nearly eight years, he served as the general counsel, on a pro bono basis, for Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada (LACSN). While Mr. McPeak no longer serves as the organization's general counsel, he continues to lend his legal skills to support LACSN's Vegas Strong Resiliency Center which has grown into The Resiliency & Justice Center. He is admitted to practice law in Nevada.

Rory Vohwinkel
is the founder and managing attorney at Vohwinkel Law. He has successfully handled thousands of bankruptcy and personal injury cases. Mr. Vohwinkel received his Bachelor of Science degree from Santa Clara University and his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law. He is admitted to practice law in Nevada and California, and is a licensed real estate broker in both states as well.
