Speaker bio
Elysia Prendergast-Jones
is managing attorney with Legal Aid of North Carolina. She is a board-certified specialist in family law. She supervises other in-house attorneys on family and domestic violence matters, advising on legal precedents, legal instruments, and the correct application of laws and statutes in district, superior and appellate courts. Ms. Prendergast-Jones also speaks at numerous CLE seminars and trainings. She earned her B.A. degree from Coker College, her M.A. and M.B.A. degrees from Webster University, and her J.D. degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
