Speaker bio
Rita B. Robertson
is an attorney in the Raleigh, North Carolina office of Ogletree Deakins. She focuses her practice on labor and employment matters. Mrs. Robertson concentrates her practice on responding to EEOC charges, wrongful discharge litigation, employment discrimination, and actions brought under state and federal laws in North Carolina and Kentucky. She regularly guides employers and their insurance carriers in avoiding litigation by negotiating favorable settlements and by providing training and counseling on a variety of workplace issues. Mrs. Robertson earned her B.S. degree from North Carolina State University and her J.D. degree from North Carolina Central School of Law. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Kentucky. Mrs. Robertson is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Wake County Bar, Fayette County Bar, Tenth Judicial District Bar and Susie Sharp Inn of Court.
