Speaker bio
Charles E. Hoffecker
is a member with Hotchkiss Hoffecker Peacock, where his practice focuses primarily on representing clients in employment litigation, contract litigation, commercial/business litigation and liability litigation. Mr. Hoffecker has extensive trial experience in both state and federal courts throughout the country. He also regularly conducts arbitrations and mediations, and appears in state and federal appellate courts on behalf of the firm's clients. Mr. Hoffecker is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle and Southern districts of Georgia. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from Albion College and his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University School of Law.

Daniel R. Shulman
is of counsel at Shulman Buske Reams PLLC in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was formery staff attorney with ACLU of Minnesota 2020-2024. Mr. Shulman has been chief counsel in antitrust and other complex commercial litigation involving major industries in a variety of cases ranging from data storage, media, food, oil and gasoline, airlines, consumer electronics, medical electronics, health care, thoroughbred horses, and many other areas. He has also been counsel in trademark and patent infringement actions, and has an active pro bono civil rights practice. He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers; International Academy of Trial Lawyers; Litigation Counsel of America, Trial Lawyer Honorary Society; and the Nation's Top One Percent, National Association of Distinguished Counsel. Mr. Shulman is a member of the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association and Hennepin County Bar Association. He earned his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Harvard University, his Master's degree from Yale University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School. Mr. Shulman has twice been named a Minnesota Attorney of the Year.

James M. Susag
is a seasoned trial attorney with a focus on franchise and dealer disputes, real estate, and complex commercial matters. He has been the lead attorney in over 100 trials and arbitrations in state and federal courts across the country, and in domestic and international arbitration forums. Mr. Susag has the unique perspective of a trial lawyer who has also managed complex litigation and developed strategic legal plans as in-house counsel. Clients appreciate his boardroom-to-courtroom experience in crafting resolutions for their business disputes. Mr. Susag is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Minnesota, Washington and Wisconsin, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh, Fourth and Eighth circuits. He earned his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas and his J.D. degree, summa cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law.

Jeanine D. Clark
is a partner with Margolis Edelstein, where she focuses her practice in complex litigation. She is experienced in handling a variety of matters ranging from construction defect to bodily injury. Ms. Clark has experience handling catastrophic injury matters, products, toxic tort and coverage issues. She practices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ms. Clark is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She is a member of the American Bar Association and New Jersey Defense Association. Ms. Clark is also the event director of the South New Jersey Chapter of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. She earned her B.A. degree from Temple University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law.

Peter L. Ostermiller
is a sole practitioner concentrating in legal ethics and professional responsibility matters. In 1980 he obtained his license to practice law in Kentucky. His legal ethics and professional responsibility law practice began in the mid -1980s and, since the mid-1990s has been his practice concentration. He represents attorneys in disciplinary and reinstatement proceedings, judges in judicial ethics matters, and bar exam applicants. Mr. Ostermiller has also represented parties in attorney's fee dispute proceedings, and attorneys in legal proceedings in which sanctions have been sought against the attorney. He has represented parties in attorney disqualification proceedings and counseled lawyers and law firms in their respective rights, responsibilities and duties to other attorneys and their clients. He also serves as an expert witness at the state and federal level regarding legal ethics and professional responsibility matters. Mr. Ostermiller is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association and Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. Mr. Ostermiller earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of Louisville.
