Hon. Jeanette A. Irby
is a retired Circuit Court Judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. She is currently managing director of Juridical Solutions PLC, where she mediates family law disputes which are most suited to alternative dispute resolution. Judge Irby is experienced in all areas of civil litigation, including complex business disputes, divorce (equitable distribution, spousal support and custody), and personal injury claims. Before going on the bench, she practiced law with her primary focus on domestic relations. Judge Irby earned her B.S. degree from Central Michigan University and her J.D. degree from Thomas W. Cooley Law School.

Dr. Lauren Rasmussen
is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist who specializes in diagnosis and treatment planning of neurological diseases and disorders and health-related conditions. Dr. Rasmussen has been recognized by the Louisiana State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as being a competent forensic provider. As such, she has served as an expert witness in many cases involving traumatic brain injury, competency, posttraumatic stress disorder, and other psychological conditions as part of a claim involved in litigation. Dr. Rasmussen also specializes in workers' compensation claims and often provides second medical opinions on injuries/damages in question. She has a special interest in fitness for duty evaluations for individuals looking to return to work or whose capacity to complete their workplace duties are being questioned. From a clinical perspective, Dr. Rasmussen frequently evaluates patients who are concerned about their memory or who have been diagnosed with progressive neurocognitive conditions. She also assesses for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities in adults (and for accommodations needed on standardized testing or in the classroom), psychiatric conditions, and presurgical clearance. Dr. Rasmussen often works with bariatric surgery candidates and patients who need presurgical clearance for major spinal surgeries and implantable devices such as spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pain pumps. Outside of the office environment, Dr. Rasmussen enjoys rigorous fitness endeavors, spending time with her husband and two daughters, and traveling. She is also involved in consultation work with several neurorehabilitation hospitals throughout the state of Louisiana and occasionally has the privilege to serve as an adjunct faculty member at LSU.

Jennifer Babounakis
is a principal with Roop Xanttopoulos Babounakis PLLC in Tysons, Virginia. She began her family law career to blend her experience in family counseling, corporate law and litigation. Ms. Babounakis relies on her corporate law experience when managing complex equitable distribution issues, such as property valuation, financial tracing and division. She likewise uses her understanding in mental health to aide in managing the social issues that are frequently involved in family law cases. Ms. Babounakis earned her B.S. degree from Arizona State University; her master's degree in social work from Virginia Commonwealth University; and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from New York Law School. As an evening law student, Ms. Babounakis served as chief aide to Professor Nadine Strossen, the then president of the American Civil Liberties Union; and as an associate editor to the New York Law School Law Review. After law school, Ms. Babounakis practiced law for five years at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton, LLP in Washington D.C.

David T. Pisarra
is the founder of Men's Family Law in Santa Monica, California. He practices in the area of family law, including divorce, alimony, child custody and support. Mr. Pisarra practices in the courts of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and Ventura counties regularly. He has authored three books for men; A Man's Guide to Child Custody, A Man's Guide to Divorce Strategy and A Man's Guide to Domestic Violence. Mr. Pisarra earned his B.A. degree from St. John's College and his J.D. degree from the University of West Los Angeles. He is a member of the Santa Monica Bar Association, Beverly Hills Bar, State Bar of California and Los Angeles County Bar.

Joshua Balter
is a partner with Happy Even After Family Law, practicing in all areas family and divorce law. He was in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, mainly serving on Submarines and with the US Marines and is a veteran of multiple combat tours. Mr. Balter has traveled the world extensively, including living in Japan for three years. His life experiences taught him a respect and understanding of people of various cultures. He was a medical specialist in the Navy and completed the most demanding enlisted medical program - Submarine Independent Duty Corpsman (similar to a physician assistant) with honors. Mr. Balter served as the sole health care provider on the USS San Juan (a nuclear-powered submarine) and various other duty stations as a medical provider including with 1/25 Marines in Iraq. He completed his career by serving as the senior enlisted leader for three Navy Health Clinics. Mr. Balter is the recipient of numerous military awards, decorations, and retired as a Chief Petty Officer with multiple combat designations. He earned his J.D. degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law concentrating on family law.

Dr. Jerome H. Poliacoff
maintains a private practice in Coral Gables and Boca Raton, Florida, where his time is spent providing both clinical and forensic services. Dr. Poliacoff is a child, adolescent and adult psychologist licensed in the state of Florida since 1984. His training included pre- and post-doctoral internships and training at the Children's Psychiatric Centers in Miami, Florida. Dr. Poliacoff has been a staff consultant to the Northwest Dade Community Mental Health Center, where he conducted the pre-doctoral internship training in child assessment; and on the staff of Charter Hospital of Miami, where he served as co-director of an adult inpatient unit. He is a frequent consulting and testifying expert in both family and dependency courts in Florida's Eleventh, Fifteenth, and Seventeenth Judicial circuits; an expert in cases involving discrimination and harassment claims in federal employment law cases; an expert in the assessment and defense of tort claims for emotional damages in cases involving children, adolescents and adults; and he serves as a Level III third party review expert of pediatric patient insurance appeals for National Medical Review of Pennsylvania. Dr. Poliacoff earned his undergraduate degree from the City University of New York, and his master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Miami, Coral Gables.
