Hon. Nancy Baskin
is a District Judge with Ada County.
Speaker bio
Jennifer L. Swajkoski
is a partner with Hall Booth Smith, P.C., in Missoula, Montana. She is licensed and maintains an active practice in Montana and Idaho. She primarily represents professionals, medical providers, health care entities, and businesses in complex litigation and in an advisory capacity. Her practice spans from medical malpractice, health care law, commercial litigation, and general liability matters, and she regularly appears in various arenas, including state and federal courts as well as before state licensing boards and other administrative bodies. Jenny is on the executive board for the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers, a member of the Idaho Association of Defense Counsel, and serves as the Montana state representative for DRI. Prior to joining Hall Booth Smith, Jenny worked for top-ranked defense litigation firms in both Idaho and Montana, where she handled a large volume of third party, medical malpractice, and legal malpractice cases.

John E. Rumel
is a professor of law at University of Idaho College of Law. Mr. Rumel is currently serving as a visiting professor at the University of San Fransisco School of Law. He has practiced or taught law in Idaho for over 25 years and is actively admitted to the Idaho State Bar. Mr. Rumel's experience is primarily focused on education law, and employment law although he has previous substantial experience in product liability, commercial and real property litigation, and professional malpractice. He currently teaches evidence, civil procedure, remedies, lawyering process, workplace law, and education law.
