Speaker bio
Lisa S. Jones
is an attorney at Dismuke & Waters, P.C. where she practices estate planning, probate, guardianship, and corporate transactions. She earned her B.S. degree from Columbia College and her J.D. degree from UNT Dallas College of Law. Ms. Jones is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Probate Bar Association, Dallas Bar Association, and Texas Bar College. She is admitted to practice law in Texas and Colorado.
Speaker bio
Christopher L. Cauble
is the managing partner in the firm of Cauble, Furr & Beguin, LLP in Grants Pass, Oregon, practicing in the area of probate and trust litigation, including litigating claims, money that has been stolen by PR's or fiduciaries, defending or prosecuting will contests, and elder abuse litigation. Additionally, he deals with all estate and probate related tax issues. Mr. Cauble earned his B.A. degree (Departmental Honors) from Willamette University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, (Phi Alpha Delta) from Gonzaga University School of Law. He is a member of the Oregon State Bar board of Governors, Oregon State Bar Administrative Law Executive Committee (Chair, 2009), Oregon State Bar House of Delegates and the Oregon State Bar Judicial Administration Committee. Mr. Cauble is a member of Oregon State Bar Board of Governors from 2020-2024. He is admitted to practice in Oregon and before the U.S. Tax Court, U.S. District Court District of Oregon, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Sharon L. Michaels
is the owner of her law firm located in Houston, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism, with honors, from Northwestern University; and her J.D. degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston. The First Court of Appeals in Houston selected Ms. Michaels as a briefing attorney with attendance at the court's oral arguments for cases upon appeal and drafted proposed court opinions for Justice James Warren. After service with the court, she began her own law firm emphasizing on the areas of trusts, estate planning, probate, and business transactional work.
