is an attorney with Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney, bringing a wealth of experience in employment law and litigation. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he has a proven track record of representing high-profile clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Shearin's expertise extends to handling complex cases before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). He is adept at counseling clients on compliance with federal and state laws, particularly in areas such as handbook policies, pay practices, and the use of artificial intelligence in employment decisions. Mr. Shearin's meticulous approach to pre-trial litigation and his ability to draft critical employment documents make him a valuable asset to the firm. He earned his B.S. degree from Arizona State University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the Law Review and held leadership roles in various student organizations. is an assistant general counsel with Taft Stettinius & Hollister, LLP with over 15 years of legal experience in civil litigation, conflicts of interest, and professional responsibility. In this role, she advises firm attorneys with respect to ethics compliance, risk prevention, and conflicts of interest. In addition, Ms. Sheehan assists in the review and negotiation of outside counsel guidelines, conflict waivers and engagement letters, and other items with ethical implications. She assists in providing ethical training and education within the firm to its attorneys and staff. Ms. Sheehan is an adjunct professor at the IU Robert H. McKinney School where she teaches professional responsibility. She is also a former assistant clinical professor of business law and ethics at the Kelley School of Business. Ms. Sheehan is passionate about promoting ethical awareness, integrity, and professionalism in the legal and business fields, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge and practice in these domains. She is a frequent presenter and author on ethics and professionalism in the legal industry. Ms. Sheehan is a recurring author with the Res Gestae, the Indiana State Bar Association's Member Journal, regarding the ethics curbstone; and has been quoted in publications for her knowledge on ethical topics. She is also an avid speaker, having given over 200 seminars on ethics and professionalism for various local and national platforms. Ms. Sheehan's primary area of research is regarding the ethics of AI and how it affects the legal and business community.

is a partner in the Minneapolis office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP. He is the chair of the firm's data analytics practice group, and applies his intellectual curiosity, technical and research savvy, and penchant for innovation to create a broad spectrum of analytics and strategic review of clients' corporate transactions, reorganizations, and intellectual property endeavors. Mr. Stignani earned his J.D. degree from William Mitchell College of Law while working for Alliant Techsystems. He previously had completed postgraduate work in robotics and control systems at the University of Minnesota and National Technological University, while working at Honeywell, Inc. Further, Mr. Stignani is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). He offers his insights through dozens of webinars annually, and serves as a regular lecturer at colleges and universities across the state of Minnesota. Mr. Stignani also is a frequent speaker for various associations and conferences, including Reel Lawyer, Black Hills IP Analytics Series, LES International and Practicing Law Institute.

In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
