exclusively represents cyclists and is a recognized legal expert and advocate in the cycling community. Since 2010, she has represented over 200 individual cyclists and she handles cases nationwide. Megan provides bike law education clinics and classes to cyclists, local bike clubs as well as to law enforcement personnel. She has been featured on HBO Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel and in Outside Magazine for her work on bike cases and her advocacy and education work to make cycling safer. She was also featured in a cycling documentary in 2023 called The Engine Inside (EngineInsideFilm.com). In 2022, Megan along with co-counsel obtained a Colorado record-setting civil verdict of 353million (later revised up to 403million) in the wrongful death case of her friend and cycling teammate, Gwen Inglis. Megan has authored countless articles and also co-authored a cycling-law resource book called Bicycle Accidents, Crashes, and Collisions: Biomechanical, Engineering, and Legal Aspects, Second Edition, published in 2016. A 2-time crash survivor herself, Megan is also an elite road, track, mountain bike and cyclocross racer; just last month (August 2025), she won her second national championship at Masters Track Nationals. She rides between 6,000-8,000 miles/year (almost always more miles than she drives her car). She commutes almost everywhere by e-bike and incorporates some aspect of health, wellness, or sport into every day. When she isn't riding or helping make cycling safer, she's busy with 2 shelter rescue puppies, Eli and Luna and enjoying her "intermittent van life," aka adventuring in nature and exploring new places. She also coaches her local high school Mountain bike team.
