Thomas G. Martin
is a generative AI author, professor, philosopher, coder, lawyer, and sought-after speaker. As the CEO and founder of LawDroid, a pioneering Generative AI Legal Technology company and co-founder of the American Legal Technology Awards, he is at the forefront of transforming the legal industry. Recognized as an ABA Legal Rebel and Fastcase 50 Honoree, Mr. Martin teaches Generative AI in legal services as an adjunct professor at Suffolk Law School and is a regular contributor to publications like the National Law Review, Law Practice Today, and GP Solo Magazine. He has also captivated audiences at renowned events like ABA TechShow, LegalWeek, ILTACON, Clio Con, and Legal Innovators. Beyond his work in legal technology, Mr. Martin is passionate about education and mentorship. He hosts the LawDroid Manifesto newsletter and podcast, exploring the intersection of AI and the law, and serves as a mentor at the Yale Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking and ATJ Tech Fellows. A graduate of Yale University and UCLA School of Law, Mr. Martin is a proud father of two daughters and lives in Vancouver, Canada.

Kellen M. Shearin
is an attorney with Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney, bringing a wealth of experience in employment law and litigation. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, he has a proven track record of representing high-profile clients, including Fortune 500 companies, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Shearin’s expertise extends to handling complex cases before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). He is adept at counseling clients on compliance with federal and state laws, particularly in areas such as handbook policies, pay practices, and the use of artificial intelligence in employment decisions. Mr. Shearin’s meticulous approach to pre-trial litigation and his ability to draft critical employment documents make him a valuable asset to the firm. He earned his B.S. degree from Arizona State University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the Law Review and held leadership roles in various student organizations. Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Shearin is actively involved in community service, serving as president of the Board of Directors for the Religious Coalition for Community Revival. He is admitted to practice in District of Columbia, Maryland, West Virginia, with North Carolina license pending.
