Speaker bio
Brian Snyder
is the immediate past president of the Arizona Association for Justice and has been named one of the top medical malpractice and birth injury trial lawyers in Arizona. He was honored with the 2023-2024 Trial Lawyer of the Year award by the Arizona Association for Justice, and was also named as the 2024 Medical Malpractice Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers. Named a Super Lawyer and Best Lawyer in the plaintiff medical malpractice and personal injury arena, Mr. Snyder has been featured in interviews on numerous tv and radio stations. As a partner with Snyder & Wenner, P.C., he focuses his practice on medical malpractice and birth injury cases, as well as wrongful death or catastrophic injury personal injury cases. Mr. Snyder's work in these areas led to the largest medical malpractice verdict in the history of Arizona, the largest verdict ever in Arizona against the VA, and the largest verdict of any kind in Arizona in 2017.

Daniel K. Back
is an attorney with Hutton & Hutton Law Firm, LLC, where he focuses on medical malpractice and other personal injury matters including auto accidents, products liability cases and other catastrophic injuries. With experience and trial victories as counsel for plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation, Mr. Back brings excellent, well-rounded experience to the table. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Kansas and the federal courts of Kansas, Missouri, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Back is also an adjunct professor at Wichita State University. He is active with the Kansas Bar Association and the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Back earned his B.S. degree, magna cum laude, from Bluefield University and his J.D. degree from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas.

John M. Cinti
is an attorney with the law firm of Mintzer Sarowitz Zeris & Willis LLC, where he has focused his practice on civil litigation, concentrating on personal injury with an emphasis on matters involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death. Additionally, Mr. Cinti has regularly brought his talents to the aid of clients in disputes involving breach of contract and a variety of commercial torts. He also has significant experience in assisting clients in various aspects of insurance coverage, including bad faith claims, declaratory judgment and insurance agent/broker malpractice. Mr. Cinti was designated a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court in 2004. He is a member of the New Jersey State, New York State and Pennsylvania bar associations. Mr. Cinti earned his B.S. degree from the University of Scranton and his J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark.

James K. Theisen
is an attorney in the Rockford office of Hupy and Abraham. Hupy and Abraham specializes in personal injury cases and over the last half-century, Hupy and Abraham have helped more than 80,000 clients recover more than $2 Billion in compensation. With more than two decades of experience, Mr. Theisen handles personal injury claims. Mr. Theisen earned his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law, where he received numerous awards and scholarships including the Phi Delta Phi Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Ethics and the Academic Achievement Scholarship. He also served as a student ambassador for Southern Illinois University School of Law, and participated in William & Mary School of Law’s summer program in Madrid, Spain. Mr. Theisen is licensed to practice in Illinois state and federal courts, as well as the states of Missouri and Iowa. He also is a member of the Winnebago County and the Illinois State bar associations.
