With deep expertise in intellectual property, data privacy, and cybersecurity, Mr. Besnoy advises clients across a range of highly regulated industries; including financial services, healthcare, media, insurance, e-commerce, and technology on developing cybersecurity programs and technology infrastructures that align with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001, and CMMC. He previously served as program director at Mindtree Ltd., where he spearheaded digital strategy and privacy consulting for Fortune 500 clients across the financial, insurance, CPG, and media sectors. Mr. Besnoy's leadership roles include president of Netbiscuits North America, where he helped secure $27 million in investment and negotiated over $13 million in strategic licensing deals with major brands including Coca-Cola, eBay, CBS, and Time Inc. In earlier roles, he held executive positions at Universal Music Group, Imaginova Corporation, and Vivendi Universal, leading business development, direct-to-consumer strategy, mobile commerce initiatives, and corporate M&A. Mr. Besnoy earned his B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and his J.D. degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he specialized in intellectual property law. He is licensed to practice law in the state of New York. Mr. Besnoy is also the creator of a cybersecurity compliance course and curriculum, listed in FINRA's Compliance Vendor Directory, and is accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as both a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP-US).

is a highly experienced privacy attorney with a diverse background spanning both public and private sectors. Currently serving as senior corporate counsel at Cox Communications, she counsels clients on privacy-related issues, including in the areas of digital advertising and marketing, and technology contracting and procurement. Ms. Johnson also advises clients on cybersecurity matters, including data security compliance and due diligence, cybersecurity preparedness, and security incident response. Previously, she served as an Obama Administration appointee at the U.S. Department of Defense where she developed national policies and programs in support of cybersecurity and critical infrastructure. In addition, Ms. Johnson held several senior leadership posts on Capitol Hill and served as senior counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs. In that role, she was a principal in drafting and negotiations for comprehensive cybersecurity legislation and conducted oversight of critical infrastructure protection programs, privacy, and federal IT programs. Ms. Johnson has been recognized for her leadership both professionally and civically. She was named a Manfred Worner Fellow in 2016, the flagship leadership development program of the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Ms. Johnson has also been profiled in major publications such as Bloomberg Law and Politico, and featured in Capitol Hill's Top 40 under 40. She earned her bachelor's degree, cum laude, in business administration from the University of Richmond and her J.D. degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. Ms. Johnson holds a Certification in cybersecurity strategy from Georgetown University and is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
