Steven Fried
is based in New York City. A graduate of Tufts University and the University of Tennessee College of Law, he has been practicing since 1996, consulting with and representing entrepreneurs and businesses. Mr. Fried's writings have been featured in various law reviews and other publications. He lectures extensively on legal and ethical issues facing attorneys and the public. In 2017, Mr. Fried founded OliverClarity Inc. and began developing OlyverApp, an online business management platform that helps entrepreneurs build compliant ventures and raise money. He is also a hockey player whose talents remain largely underappreciated.

Jeffrey W. Greene
is a Litigation Shareholder in the firm's Boston office and serves as Co-Chair of the firm's global eDiscovery & eRetention Practice and Co-Chair of the Boston Litigation Department. Jeff is an experienced trial lawyer who focuses his practice on litigation, information governance, healthcare and investigations that involve complex legal, factual and data management issues. Jeff counsels clients through the entire information management lifecycle -from tailoring information governance programs to navigating court rules and legal decisions regarding the production of electronic information. Jeff has developed programs that enable clients to meet their legal and business requirements and to take swift and appropriate action in response to requests for electronic information in connection with litigation or government investigations.

Melissa Dalziel
is an attorney at Alston & Bird LLP. She is a member of Alston Discovery, the firm's e-discovery team, and manages large teams during all stages of discovery and trial preparation. Ms. Dalziel has overseen discovery in a wide range of intellectual property and commercial disputes, including patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, fraud, breach of contract, RMBS, securities, and financial services. She prepares discovery budgets and develops procedures and protocols for the collection and review of massive quantities of documents. Her work includes negotiating search terms, TAR protocols, and ESI protocols; hiring, training, and managing review teams; and implementing quality controls. She uses, and trains teams regarding the use of, analytic applications such as concept clustering and technology assisted review to reduce costs and identify key documents. She has conducted PII/GDPR reviews on behalf of European clients suing in U.S. courts and clients that have experienced data breaches. She advises clients and attorneys on legal developments and best practices in document preservation, collection, searching, filtering, and data privacy. In a former role, she assisted in the review and assessment of more than 20 generative AI legal tools being considered for the firm's use. She has conducted extensive trials of four tools, using them on live cases, and is working with three providers to assist in developing their tools. She advises clients regarding the development of AI use policies. She earned her B.A degree from University of Toronto and her J.D. degree from Brigham Young University.
