Carree K. Nahama
is the founder and owner of Nahama Law, celebrating its tenth anniversary of dedicated service to injured children and their families. With a reputation for compassion, diligence and exceptional results, she leads her legal team to make a meaningful impact on clients' lives. An award-winning trial attorney, Ms. Nahama was honored with the prestigious "Streetfighter" award by Consumer Attorneys of San Diego (CASD) in 2023. Throughout her career, she has exemplified the highest standards of civility and professionalism, setting a benchmark for others in the legal field. Ms. Nahama is a bencher and team leader for the Louis M. Welsh Inn of Court, where she fosters mentorship, ethical advocacy, and professional growth among peers. As co-chair of the Women's Caucus for CASD, she champions initiatives that empower attorneys and promote inclusivity within the legal community. Guided by the Latin phrase "bona fide", Ms. Nahama embodies authenticity, integrity and passion. A committed volunteer and gifted connector, she is known for her advocacy of intergenerational collaboration and her ability to unite professionals across various specializations and firm sizes.

Hon. James A. Mangione
is a highly respected member of the San Diego legal community, with a career spanning more than three decades in civil litigation. He earned his undergraduate degree from UC San Diego and his J.D. degree from the University of San Diego in 1981. For 34 years, Judge Mangione practiced law in San Diego, handling both plaintiff and defense work with a primary focus on civil litigation. In recognition of his exceptional trial skills and professionalism, he was named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2015. Judge Mangione has also shared his expertise as an adjunct faculty member at California Western School of Law, where he has taught trial skills since 2007. He has held key leadership roles in the legal community, including serving as past president of the Board of Directors for Defenders Inc. and the San Diego Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Judge Mangione was listed in Best Lawyers in America from 2003 through 2015. Appointed to the San Diego Superior Court in November 2015, he has continued his dedication to public service from the bench. Judge Mangione served as a family court judge from 2017 to 2021 and currently serves as a civil judge, where he brings his deep experience and commitment to justice to the civil division.

Pamela Vallero
, the 2024 Consumer Attorneys of San Diego Trial Lawyer of the Year, has dedicated her career to advocating for the rights of underrepresented individuals who form the backbone of the workforce. Since the beginning of her legal career, she has obtained top verdicts for her clients. In 2022, Ms. Vallero was recognized as the sole recipient of the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego's Rising Star Award and one of the recipients of the Outstanding Trial Lawyer in 2023, Ms. Vallero has dedicated her career to fighting for the underdog. Since 2022, Ms. Vallero has consistently been selected as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, which is given to the top 2.5 percent of lawyers in the industry under the age of 40. In 2023, Ms. Vallero was also recognized as one of San Diego's Women of Influence in the Law. Ms. Vallero loves to be in the courtroom; however, she continues to work tirelessly outside the courtroom securing seven-and-six-figure settlements for her clients. Prior to becoming an attorney, Ms. Vallero grew up in Medellin, Colombia. She arrived in the United States in her teens where she lived with her parents and two sisters. She faced first-hand the many socio-economic discrepancies, social injustice, and discrimination that people of color often experience. As a result, Ms. Vallero vowed to fight against such inequalities. Ms. Vallero is a firm believer that every victim has a story that deserves to be told and heard. Ms. Vallero believes that through her work as an advocate for workers, she is able to continue combatting the inequalities faced by her community.
