Speaker bio
Dean R. Dietrich
, a shareholder with Weld Riley, S.C., has represented clients in the areas of lawyer ethics and professional responsibility for more than 35 years. He has represented attorneys in matters before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Office of Lawyer Regulation, and consults with law firms and lawyers regularly regarding compliance with the Rules of Professional Conduct. Mr. Dietrich has served as chair of the State Bar Committee on Professional Ethics, in addition to past service on the committee appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court to review changes to the Wisconsin Rules of Professional Conduct for Attorneys. He is a member of the ABA's Center for Professional Responsibility and the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. Mr. Dietrich currently serves as past president of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He is a graduate of Marquette University Law School.
Speaker bio
William Neinast
is an attorney with Nelson Mullins. His focus is on litigation, products liability, professional liability, and commercial litigation and business torts. Mr. Neinast is admitted in South Carolina, U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He earned his B.A. degree from Wake Forest University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
Speaker bio
Matthew R. Carlyon
focuses his practice in areas of commercial litigation, creditor's rights, regulatory law, business reorganization, legal ethics and insurance litigation. Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, his experience includes providing bankruptcy-related litigation assistance to diverse corporate entities and financial institutions, and serving as litigation counsel in insurance subrogation matters. Mr. Carlyon also served as an assistant bar counsel in the state of Nevada, where he prosecuted allegations of attorney misconduct before disciplinary panels and the Nevada Supreme Court. He earned his B.A. degree, with honors, from Columbia College and his J.D. degree from Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
