is an attorney at his firm Evans Legal Group PC. He earned his Ph.D. degree in educational administration from Georgia State University and his J.D. degree from Valparaiso University. Dr. Evans is a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellow and has studied at Downing College, Cambridge University, England. He served as a founder of the Western Institute for Agricultural Land Use, the Sagebrush Forum, and help the found the Agricultural Rural Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association servings as its chair and on the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association. Dr. Evans has more than 30 years of experience working as both a lawyer, public servant, and educator. As an educator, he worked Mississippi, Illinois, Indiana, California, and Colorado. is Deputy City Manager with the City of Beaufort. He brings over a decade of public service experience prior to practicing law and has represented clients in a broad array of matters in addition to his experience prosecuting. Mr. Suave served as a firefighter and law enforcement officer for a decade before becoming a prosecutor, general counsel for several public safety organizations, and operating his own firm before returning to Superior Court as an assistant district attorney. He has worked on matters ranging from traffic violations to first degree murders, and everything in between. In the civil realm, he has experience working with family law clients, advising organizations on risk management and employment matters, and litigating civil contract and land disputes. Mr. Sauve earned his bachelor's degrees in psychology and criminal justice from Waldorf University, his Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law, and his Masters in public administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to his formal education, he was an inaugural graduate from the Drucker Institute's Public Sector Leadership program, a graduate of the UNC School of Government's Municipal and County Administration program, and he teaches criminal justice, public administration, and continuing education courses for several schools and fire, rescue, EMS, and law enforcement organizations.

Do you have options for attendees who are deaf or hard of hearing?

What happens if my course is cancelled?
In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.

Yes, the more people you bring from your organization, the more you save. After the first registration, each additional attendee receives a special discount off of their total tuition.
