Richard E. Marsh, Jr.
is a partner at Marsh Law Firm. He is a board-certified specialist in estate planning and probate law in North Carolina. Mr. Marsh practices in tax, business transactions, and estate planning and administration. He is an active writer and lecturer for attorneys, CPAs, CLUs, and other financial professionals and trade groups in the areas of estate planning, tax planning, sales and purchases of businesses, and tax-advantaged transactions involving real estate; and taught decedents estates, estate planning, and will drafting at the law school level for about a decade. He is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, The Florida Bar, and South Carolina Bar. Mr. Marsh earned his B.A. degree from Bucknell University, his J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his LL.M. degree from Georgetown University.

Gary A. Forster
is managing partner and co-founder of ForsterBoughman. His practice spans 30 years and includes domestic and international corporate law, asset protection, tax and estate planning. Mr. Forster handles a variety of corporate and personal planning matters for business leaders and wealthy families. He writes and speaks nationally on tax, corporate and international topics and is the author of three books. In 2013, he wrote Asset Protection for Professionals, Entrepreneurs and Investors, a guide to asset protection strategies for clients and their financial advisors, now in its second edition. In 2020, Mr. Forster finished the second edition of The U.S. Estate and Gift Tax and the Non-Citizen, which explains how resident and non-resident foreign nationals are impacted by the U.S. Estate and Gift Tax. In 2021, he wrote The U.S. Wealth Transfer Tax and the Non-Citizen, a law school textbook. Mr. Forster's legislative amendments were adopted as Section 43A of the Nevis LLC Ordinance - Nevis Limited Liability Company (Amendment) Ordinance, 2015. He earned his B.A. degree from Tufts University, graduating cum laude with majors in economics and Spanish literature. Mr. Forster earned his J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law, graduating with honors. He continued his studies as a graduate fellow at the University of Florida College of Law, Master of Taxation program, earning an LL.M. degree in taxation. Mr. Forster's education also includes studies at the University of Madrid, Oxford University and Leiden University in the Netherlands. He is a member of The Florida Bar and District of Columbia Bar Association, including bar sections for international and tax law. Mr. Forster is licensed to practice before the U.S. Tax Court, and is a member of the American Bar Association Asset Protection Planning Committee. He speaks Spanish fluently.

Nicholas A. Paleveda
is the CEO of National Pension Partners in the Salt Lake City, Utah area with 40 affiliate offices across the United States. National Pension Partners is an internet pension administration company, which designs and administers defined benefit pension plans in all 50 states. He is a former adjunct professor for the graduate tax program at Northeastern University in Boston. Mr. Paleveda is the author of The Estate Planning Handbook, The Handbook of Retirement Planning (second edition) and The Asset Protection Handbook. He has been the estate planning consultant to the founding family of Coca Cola, the president of Phillip Morris, the founder of Dunkin Donuts and the president of Kimberly-Clarke. Mr. Paleveda is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Florida, the U.S. Tax Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He earned his M.B.A. degree from the University of South Florida, his J.D. degree from the University of Miami and his LL.M. degree from the University of Denver.

is an attorney in Connell Foley LLP's taxation and estate planning group, where she counsels high-net-worth clients on tax-minimizing strategies. She has experience advising high-net-worth individuals and families on all aspects of estate planning, charitable giving, and business succession matters to achieve their personal, philanthropic, and business objectives in the most tax-efficient manner. At the beginning of her legal career, Ms. Herrera served as a law clerk to the Hon. Mitchel E. Ostrer in the Superior Court of New Jersey's Appellate Division. She earned her J.D. degree, cum laude (Leonard Garth Advocacy Award, Nathan N. Schildkraut Award for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy, 2013) from Rutgers School of Law and her LL.M. (taxation, Certificate in Estate Planning) from Villanova University, Charles Widger School of Law. Ms. Herrera is a graduate of the Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She is admitted to practice in New Jersey.

Katherine Lewis, MBA, CPA, CTFA, ESQ
, is president of Tax Aces LLC. She is a licensed CPA and lawyer in both Minnesota and Florida and has more than 30 years of tax and business experience. Ms. Lewis started her career in the tax department at the Big 8 CPA Firm, Ernst & Young. She then spent almost 20 years employed by the preeminent legal, business & regulatory information publisher, West Publishing that was later acquired by Thomson Reuters where she was consistently recognized as a top 1% leader of its sales & business executives. Ms. Lewis also worked several years at the community bank, United Southern Bank as a vice president and trust officer with over 100 clients and assets over $200M. She is an IRS credentialed agent and tax attorney representing clients in all tax matters before the IRS and US Tax Court and is also a certified trust and fiduciary advisor (CTFA). Ms. Lewis earned her B.S. degree, cum laude, from University of Minnesota; her J.D. degree, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law; and her MBA degree, summa cum laude, from Florida Atlantic University.
