Eric M. Steven
is the principal and managing attorney of Steven Law Office in Spokane with a practice emphasis in the area of landlord-tenant relations and housing. He practices in both state and federal courts in all Washington counties east of the Cascades and in northern Idaho. Mr. Steven litigates landlord/tenant cases involving eviction, ejectment, commercial litigation, fair housing claims, and a variety of other landlord-tenant issues. He is one of the few attorneys in Washington to actually defend a fair housing case in a federal court jury trial. Mr. Steven is acting counsel for numerous property owners, landlords, management companies, mobile home parks, and subsidized housing providers. He is active in legislative reform and advisory counsel for the Washington Apartment Association. Mr. Steven earned his B.A. degree from the University of Oklahoma and his J.D. degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. As a licensed instructor in real estate, he frequently lectures to attorneys, property managers, law enforcement, and owners at continuing legal education programs. He is the author of "From Landlord/Tenant to Debt Collector/Consumer and Back Again", Gonzaga Law Review, and A Comparison of Residential Tenancies in Idaho and Washington State (2013). For the last several years, Mr. Steven has been an invited speaker at the Trends conference in Seattle, Washington, the northwest's largest rental housing management conference. As one of the most highly evaluated CLE instructors statewide in 2003, he was selected by the Washington State Bar Association to speak in the WSBA Encore "Best of CLE" series. Mr. Steven is a frequent speaker for the Washington State Bar and Spokane County Bar Association. He is a member of the Washington State, Idaho, Spokane County, Federal and Eastern District of Washington Bankruptcy bar associations. In 2019, Steven Law Office was named Top Housing Law Firm of the Year by Lawyer Monthly magazine. In 2023, Inc. magazine named Steven Law Office a Power Partner in business. Mr. Steven was named by National Business Institute, a nationwide CLE sponsor, as the "Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year for 2023", based upon peer review and other factors.

Andrew L. Crabtree
is the principal of the Law Offices of Andrew L. Crabtree, P.C., where his firm focuses on transactional and litigated real estate, landlord-tenant, construction and general commercial business matters. He has a broad background in residential condominium development and sales in commercial leasing; and represents commercial owners, developers, purchasers and tenants, including a national franchise chain in commercial leasing and landlord and tenant matters. Mr. Crabtree represents businesses and individuals in federal and state trial courts, as well as in arbitrations and before administrative tribunals involving commercial disputes, constitutional claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, business torts, unfair competition, employment claims, trade secrets and intellectual property cases. He also represents contractors, owners, developers, design professionals, municipalities and state agencies relating to public and private construction and development projects, mechanics' liens, commercial lease disputes and landlord-tenant matters. Mr. Crabtree is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association and Suffolk County Bar Association. He earned his B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. degree from Fordham University Law School.

Grant Puleo
focuses his practice on a wide variety of real estate, finance and business transactions. He has extensive experience in a broad array of commercial, multi-family and educational facility (student housing) real estate transactions, including acquisitions, development, construction, affordable housing, P3, syndication, dispositions and specialized leasing and financing of all product types throughout California and the United States. Mr. Puleo's finance experience includes both borrower and lender representation in the origination and workout of complicated debt and equity transactions, such as acquisition and construction financing, mezzanine financing and synthetic leasing transactions. He also represents clients in business matters involving the transfer of business assets and property and the formation and restructuring of joint ventures, private placements, opportunity funds and other business entities. Mr. Puleo is also a seasoned trial attorney, having tried over a dozen jury trials and several dozen binding arbitrations and mediations involving real estate, finance and business disputes, lis pendens, quiet title and partition actions, as well as risk management and litigation avoidance counseling. Mr. Puleo has also testified as an expert witness in trial, binding arbitration and in deposition. Mr. Puleo is an adjunct professor of law at California Western School of Law, where he lectures on commercial real estate transactions. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Endeavor Bank and serves as pro bono legal counsel for various non-profit clients. Mr. Puleo is admitted to practice in the state of California.

Thomas J. Major
is the principal and chair of the business law and transactions practice in the Hackensack Office of Offit Kurman, Attorneys At Law. He maintains practices in real estate law and landlord representation, counseling clients in the multi-family and investment property industry. Mr. Major has served as a speaker in the past on real estate and landlord-tenant subjects. He earned his B.A. degree from Grove City College and his J.D. degree from Rutgers University School of Law.

Bryan N. Vega
is a partner at Meland Budwick, P.A., where he focuses his practice on real estate, corporate, and transactional matters. He serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Real Estate and Corporate Group. Before joining the firm, he was an attorney at Greenberg Traurig. Bryan represents national and regional real estate developers, private investors, entrepreneurs, and financial institutions. His real estate practice includes the acquisition, disposition, financing, development, construction, operation, and leasing of a broad range of asset types, such as mixed-use and retail developments, office buildings, hospitality projects, industrial centers, condominiums, multifamily properties, and other commercial and residential properties. He routinely drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial and residential real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, closing and conveyance instruments, and lease agreements. He also performs title and survey due diligence and oversees commercial and residential real estate closings. In his corporate and transactional practice, Bryan advises clients on corporate structuring and entity formation, including the formation of limited liability companies, corporations, and partnerships. He drafts operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other organizational documents, and negotiates complex structures, including joint ventures and general partner/limited partner arrangements. He also serves as outside general counsel to a wide range of companies, assisting with general corporate governance, contracts, and other day-to-day transactional matters. Bryan earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and is admitted to practice in Florida. He has been listed for inclusion in Lawdragon 500 X - The Next Generation (2025), The Best Lawyers in America "Ones to Watch" (2023-Present), and Daily Business Review Florida Legal Awards "On the Rise" (2022).
