Summer Geyer
is an attorney at Buchalter. She specializes in construction and real estate litigation. Ms. Geyer assists a range of clients, including residential and commercial general contractors, subcontractors, and business and property owners. She works closely with various Tennessee construction documents and standards, including AIA contracts, building and property maintenance codes, and lien and payment laws. Ms. Geyer earned her B.S. degree from Arizona State University and her J.D. degree from Belmont University College of Law.

James G. Papadakis
is Of Counsel in the New York office of Ropers Majeski, where his practice focuses on construction, insurance coverage, and complex commercial disputes arising from large construction and infrastructure projects. He represents insurers, owners, contractors, and design professionals in matters involving construction defects, project delays, professional liability, and risk transfer issues under Commercial General Liability, builder's risk, and related insurance programs, and regularly advises clients on coverage interpretation, indemnity, and the alignment of construction contracts with available insurance. Mr. Papadakis has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Construction Law and Litigation, and earned his B.A. from Binghamton University, his J.D. from New York Law School, and his LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law.

Elizabeth S. Tipping
is a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP. She has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in civil, commercial, and criminal matters, with a primary focus on construction law. Ms. Tipping has successfully tried cases in both jury and non-jury settings in state and federal courts and has advocated for clients at every level of the judiciary, including the Supreme Court of the United States. An active member of both the legal and construction communities, she is affiliated with the Tennessee Association of Construction Counsel, National Women in Roofing, and the Lawyer' Association for Women. Ms. Tipping also teaches advocacy skills at programs offered by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA), and serves as program director for NITA's annual Deposition Skills Program in Nashville. She earned her B.A. degree from Acadia University and her J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School.

Loretta Thompson
is a partner at Withers LLP. Her practice includes both commercial and residential real estate matters, including those involving financing and acquiring real estate with digital assets and cryptoassets, and the use of metaverse and NFTs in real estate. Ms. Thompson regularly negotiates and facilitates real estate acquisitions and dispositions and handles tax exchanges for REIT's, public and private corporations, family offices and high net worth individuals. She also has extensive experience negotiating and administrating finance transactions, commercial leasing, property management contracts, construction and design contracts, and development agreements and easements. Ms. Thompson also advises clients on sustainable investing and resilience management for commercial and residential real estate. Her leasing practice focuses on the negotiation and documentation of commercial industrial and office project leases, as well as rental agreements and leases of high-end residential properties. She also has extensive experience working on all aspects of lender-side commercial real estate and construction loans (for private equity, portfolio, institutional, secondary market), including due diligence, drafting loan agreements, and facilitating the pre- and post-closing processes. Ms. Thompson earned her J.D. degree from Southwestern University School of Law.

Jacob E. Amir
is co-chair of the Westchester County Bar Association's Section on Real Estate, Construction and Land Use, a member of the New York State Bar Association's Sections on Real Property Law, and Local and State Government Law, and sits on the Legal Advisory Committee of the Associated General Contractors of New York State. Jacob is also Chair of a lower Westchester, New York Zoning Board of Appeals. He represents property owners, developers, financial institutions and other stakeholders on all real estate, construction projects and business transactions in the Hudson Valley and New York City, and in litigation in the federal and state courts in New York. Jacob earned his J.D. degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a Jacob Burns medal recipient and editor of the Moot Court Honor Society, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University.
