Michael S. Hale
is an attorney at Clairmont Advisors, LLC. He earned his B.A. degree from Hillsdale College in 1989 and his J.D. degree, with honors, from Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law). After being admitted to the Michigan Bar Association in 1994, Mr. Hale was employed with the Detroit based law firm of Plunkett & Cooney PC where he specialized in insurance coverage disputes and employment litigation. He was offered partnership but left the firm to take on the position of president of a large insurance agency and law firm in Livonia, Michigan.

Paul D. Friedman
is a member, head of litigation and general counsel with Brown, Crowell & Friedman, PLLC d/b/a Accident Law Group™. He practices in the areas of medical malpractice, significant personal injury and ethics matters. Dr. Friedman is admitted to practice in Arizona, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is board-certified by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification in civil pretrial practice advocacy and civil trial advocacy (NBOTA). Dr. Friedman has been certified in injury and wrongful death litigation by the State Bar of Arizona since 1997. He is an associate with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Dr. Friedman is also a medical malpractice diplomate with the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners®, where he developed the curriculum for the Certified Forensic Consulting® Certification Course and authored the "Certified Forensic Consultant Body of Knowledge" by CRC Press. Dr. Friedman earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona, his J.D. degree from California Western School of Law, his master's degree in bioethics from Midwestern University/Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine and his doctorate from LaCrosse University. He was an adjunct professor of medical and research ethics at Midwestern University and the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he instructed health care providers and students in the medical field. Dr. Friedman is currently an adjunct professor with the Sandra Day O'Connor School of Law at Arizona State University.

Kevin B. Dreher
is the co-chair of the insurance recovery group at Barnes & Thornburg LLP. He is a litigator and trial lawyer, having focused his practice for more than 20 years on insurance recovery on behalf of policyholders, complex commercial litigation, and claim/dispute-related counseling. Mr. Dreher represents policyholders and other commercial parties throughout the United States and abroad, having recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for policyholders. He earned his B.A. degree from the University of Michigan, his M.A. degree from Loyola University Chicago and his J.D. degree from the University of Illinois College of Law where he was editor-in-chief of The Elder Law Journal. Mr. Dreher is admitted to practice in Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Haley H. Casper
is an attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP. She represents companies, national sports teams and leagues, manufacturers, and other policyholders in claims related to mergers and acquisitions under representations and warranties policies, liability policies, long-tail environmental and toxic torts claims under general liability policies, and losses arising from natural disasters and contagious diseases under first-party and business interruption insurance. Ms. Casper also represents and counsels companies and financial institutions in financial and regulatory compliance and litigation, including disputes involving cryptocurrency transactions. She earned her B.A. degree from University of Connecticut and her J.D. degree from University of Connecticut.

Philip E. Roberts
is special counsel in the Lafayette office of the law firm of Galloway, Johnson, Tompkins, Burr & Smith, where he practices primarily in the areas of employment law, workers' compensation defense, insurance defense and coverage, and subrogation. Mr. Roberts lectures for various professional organizations. He is a member of the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State bar associations. Mr. Roberts earned his B.A. degree from Louisiana State University and A&M College and his J.D. degree from Louisiana State University Law Center.
