Thais Amaral Tellawi
is a managing partner with the law firm of Amaral Tellawi Law, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, including wills, trusts, guardianship, and probate. Ms. Tellawi represents individuals, families and business owners. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Attorneys in Tax and Probate, and she is an Estate Planning instructor at Rice University. Ms. Tellawi earned her B.A. degree from the University of Houston and her J.D. degree from Texas Southern University.

Bennie A. Wall
is managing principal of Carrell Blanton Ferris & Associates, PLC's Fredericksburg office. He is an accomplished estate planning and administration attorney, offering almost a decade of expertise in the field of trust and estate planning. Mr. Wall joined Carrell Blanton Ferris in 2017, after serving as an associate estate administration attorney and trust funding coordinator. He frequently speaks to local civic and professional organizations, discussing proper estate planning, as well as advanced topics like wealth transfer taxes and asset protection. Mr. Wall has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers (2019-2025) and awarded the CALI Award for Excellence in the Future of Estate Planning (2015). He is a member of the Trust and Estate Section of the Virginia State Bar, past president of the Richmond Chapter of Society of Financial Service Professionals, and serves on the Estate Planning Council of Richmond. Mr. Wall earned his J.D. degree at University of Richmond School of Law and is admitted to practice in Virginia.

Carla S. Sigler
is a solo practitioner at Sigler Law, Inc. She serves clients with integrity and skill in the areas of criminal defense, family law, business litigation, estate planning, successions, and represents government agencies and serves as the Vinton Magistrate Judge. As an experienced appellate advocate, Ms. Sigler won a murder case before the U.S. Supreme Court while serving as an assistant district attorney. She also is available for legal writing and research, and appellate advocacy work and consultation. Ms. Sigler earned her B.S. degree from McNeese State University and her J.D. degree from Paul M. Hebert LSU Law Center. She is a member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association and State Bar of Texas. Ms. Sigler is also a member of several federal bars, including the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and U.S. District Court Middle and Western districts of Louisiana. In her practice she represents a number of succession clients in issues involving real estate sales and fiduciary litigation. Ms. Sigler has been appointed by courts to serve as an administrator in succession cases and has been asked to provide expert testimony.

Sarah J. Barnes
is an attorney and legal counsel with Voya Financial, where she handles all levels of trust and estate administration matters. She was previously in private practice for many years, where she practiced in the areas of estate planning and elder law. Ms. Barnes earned her B.A. degree from Edgewood College and her J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School. Her professional memberships include the State Bar of Wisconsin, Dane County Bar Association, Legal Association of Women, and the Madison Estate Planning Council. Ms. Barnes serves on a number of non-profit boards, is a frequent speaker at various continuing legal education seminars, and has served as adjunct faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Marquette University Law School. She is admitted to practice in the state of Wisconsin.
