She is a frequent author of articles about family law appellate issues, having penned more than a dozen for the Daily Journal, Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine, and Family Law News. Ms. Ribet has been a member of the state bar's Judicial Nominees Evaluation Commission (the "JNE Commission") and, for many years was Chair of the Los Angeles County Bar Association's State Appellate Judicial Evaluation Committee ("SAJEC"). She is a fellow of both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Family Lawyers. Ms. Ribet graduated from Antioch Law School in Washington, D.C. She earned her undergraduate degree in philosophy, with high honors, from Oberlin College.

In the unlikely event that NBI cancels or reschedules an upcoming program, each registered attendee will be contacted via email by a representative of NBI. Outreach to attendees begins as soon as NBI is made aware that a program will not move forward at its originally scheduled date and time.
