Speaker bio
Agata D. Richardson
is a senior associate at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP San Diego office. She has more than six years of experience as an attorney and paralegal supporting clients with their U.S. corporate immigration and nationality needs. Before joining Fragomen, Ms. Richardson practiced immigration law with boutique California-based immigration law firms, where she provided immigration services to individuals as well as multinational and national corporations from a diverse range of industries, including sports, advertising, information technology, financial services and retail. She focused her practice on immigration program management and advising clients on compliance matters and enterprise-wide immigration protocols. Ms. Richardson's pro bono work has included assisting low-income individuals who qualify for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and screening children and their families for immigration relief, including immediate relative petitions and asylum applications. Ms. Richardson speaks English and Polish. She immigrated to the U.S. after graduating from law school in Poland. Ms. Richardson earned her LL.M. degrees in 2008 from University of Wroclaw - Poland and in 2010 from Chicago-Kent College of Law. She is admitted to practice in California, U.S. District Court, Southern District of California.

Jennifer L. Wagener
is a senior associate at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP's Silicon Valley office, where she counsels clients on all types of immigrant and nonimmigrant matters and oversees the Silicon Valley Writing Team. She has extensive experience with EB-1A/B/Cs, H-1Bs, TNs, E-2s, O-1s, J-1s and L-1s (including Blanket L-1s and managing Blanket L programs), as well as responding to Requests for Evidence across all petition types and industries. Ms. Wagener partners with clients to understand their immigration objectives, provide assessments, and support the employee experience. Prior to joining Fragomen, she practiced at boutique employment-based immigration firms large and small in Chicago and proudly practiced with her father for more than a decade. Ms. Wagener has provided pro bono assistance through the AILA Military Assistance Program (MAP), working to assist active duty service members and their families with complex immigration legal questions. She earned her B.A. degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her J.D. degree from DePaul University College of Law. Ms. Wagener is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice in Illinois, and U.S. District Court for the Northern and Central districts of Illinois.

Michael A. Jurado
is an attorney in the removal defense chair of Wilner & O'Reilly, APLC, and works out of the firm's Orange office. He earned his B.S. degree in sociology, summa cum laude, from Grand Canyon University and his J.D. degree, cum laude, from University of La Verne, College of Law. Mr. Jurado is admitted to the California Bar and is licensed to practice immigration law throughout the United States. He began working with Wilner & O'Reilly as a law clerk (while attending law school) in the firm's Orange County office. While attending law school, Mr. Jurado was a member of the San Bernardino Misdemeanor Appellate Clinic and the Justice and Immigration Clinic where he advocated for clients as he helped guide them through the complex legal system.
