is a partner at Holtzman Vogel in Washington, D.C. He has advised over 700 nonprofit organizations on a complete range of issues from formation to dissolution. Mr. Klimon has worked with many of the nation's most prominent private foundations, public charities, political campaigns, schools, and churches. He also chaired the American Bar Association's Nonprofit Organizations Committee (2018-2020). Mr. Klimon earned his B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania; his J.D. degree with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law (Order of the Coif); and his LL.M. degree in taxation from Georgetown University Law Center.

is Of Counsel at Holtzman Vogel and provides legal and tax advice to tax-exempt and nonprofit organizations, including charities and social welfare organizations. He advises clients on formation, establishing exempt status, ongoing tax and governance matters, mergers, and dissolutions. He also drafts contracts, and other agreements, as well as advises clients on various transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was an attorney for a boutique law firm providing nonprofit tax and governance advice. Additionally, for nearly ten years, he worked in the federal government as a Tax Law Specialist in the IRS Office of Tax Exempt and Government Entities, Rulings and Agreements, where he focused on exempt organization determinations and compliance, and as an Attorney Advisor at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, Exempt Organizations, where he worked on drafting guidance and advising the IRS operating division. He earned his BA degree from Thomas Aquinas College, JD degree from Ave Maria School of Law and LLM in Taxation degree, with high distinction, from Loyola Law School.
