Speaker bio
Richard R. Budney, Jr.
is a partner in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania law firm of Mulvey-Budney Law, P.C. His current practice is concentrated in advising and representing individuals in estate planning and probate matters. In addition, Mr. Budney represents claimants in all aspects of plaintiff litigation with emphasis in Social Security disability, workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, and personal injury. He earned his B.A. degree in economics from La Salle University and his J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law. Mr. Budney has also received an Estate Planning Certification from Temple University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Jay H. Bernstein
is an attorney in the law firm of Kirsch, Stone & Morgan P.A., where he manages the workers' compensation practice specializing in motions for medical treatment and surgery, and has 30 years of successful court orders for surgery and medical treatment. Mr. Bernstein has represented thousands of injured workers throughout New Jersey and has been named by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a certified workers' compensation attorney; a distinction held by less than 5% of attorneys throughout the state. He has testified before the New Jersey Senate Labor Committee to improve emergency access to medical care for injured New Jersey workers, and written and lobbied for access to proper medical care. Mr. Bernstein earned his B.A. degree from the University of Rochester, his J.D. degree from Syracuse University of Law and and post grad at the University of Pennsylvania. He studied at Brandies University in Israel. Mr. Bernstein has received a Commendation from the U.S. Army JAG Corps. Currently Mr. Bernstein is Vice President and Crew Chief of the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps and rides as an EMT.

Jackson V. de Gruy
joined Blue Williams, LLC as an associate in the Metairie office. His practice consists primarily of maritime/admiralty law, Longshore Act, and Defense Base Act litigation. Mr. de Gruy obtained a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He went on to Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert School of Law where he earned his juris doctorate. In addition to his juris doctorate, Mr. de Gruy earned a degree in comparative law and a Certificate in Energy and Environmental Law & Policy at LSU. Mr. de Gruy is admitted to practice in all Louisiana State Courts, as well as the United States District courts for the Eastern, Western, and Middle District of Louisiana, and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is also a member of the DOL Joint Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.

Michael P. Del Bueno
is a partner in the Glen Allen law firm of Whitt, Del Bueno & Clark, P.C. He has been an attorney for more than 25 years and practices in the areas of insurance defense and workers' compensation law. Mr. Del Bueno is a member of the Virginia State Bar and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. He earned his B.A. degree from Muhlenberg College and his J.D. degree from Widener University School of Law.

T. Brian Tobin
is a member in the St. Louis law firm of Huck, Howe & Tobin, where he practices in the areas of workers' compensation and general litigation. He earned his B.A. degree from Indiana University and his J.D. degree from St. Louis University School of Law. Mr. Tobin frequently lectures on workers' compensation issues for National Business Institute. He is a member of The Missouri Bar (Workers' Compensation Committee). Mr. Tobin is licensed in Missouri and Illinois.
